  • sorry, character limit

your left arm goes dead whenever you hit the ball, try lifting your arm away from your body when hitting it, for balance. You'll kinda look like you're flying xD

your footwork is a bit lazy, for the backhand and almost every shot u hit use intense footwork. you should hear squeaking from your shoes cuz your shuffling them so much

remember that sometimes its appropriate to use your wrist for some topspin in your backhands. this is good when the ball is over your shoulder

  • well for one, which do you use more, dont try deciding whether to do a one or two hander in the middle of your tennis life, it really isnt a pleasant switch to make.

personally, i use a one hander, its hard to learn but with proper practice it can get good, trust me

you can try to rotate your shoulders as well as your hips more, your swing isn't complete when you hit the ball.

  • you need to majorly improve your footwork with your right foot step to the ball not to the side. and line your left foot up to the ball. Heel to method. don't be afraid give it some racquet head speed. and bend ur kness and stay low thourgh the shot. when you make contact your back foot should push off the ground foward

  • easy fix

    just step in

if you watch yourself in this video, you set up and then you forget to step in

Once you step in, stay sideways and DO NOT OPEN UP

    transfer weight forward

    also higher back swing helps

  • You should have faster footwork, shift your body forward, faster swing...

  • on the two hander bring the grip more towards the eastern. Take back should keep arms straight. To be honest the main problem you have is not moving your feet. Hitting like a statue isnt going to work

  • use a 2hander, you seem to be more calm hitting it. Try to use either more topsin on bring the ball down more, you're looping it a lot. What I did was switch to Safin's eastern/eastern backhand where both hands are in the eastern grip. Really solid

Lead your pure drive to SW2

  • use the one you like the most and with the one you feel the most comfortabe, keep in mind that it is very hard to hit a high one handed backhand

  • you can try hitting the ball when its just starting to come down, that will give you top spin or it the ball bounces high, u can slice it

  • swith to two

  • I think you can improve your backhand by rotating your upper body more. It's also important to shift your weight forward while hitting the shot.

  • thanks a lot. consciously leaning forward into the shot is helping quite a bit.

  • Down your right leg while hitting, u will have more control.

  • Use the western/extreme backhand grip b/c it's much more comfortable. Also, bring your racquet much lower on the approach.

  • lol David nice try sounding legit, but you fail hardcore at sentence structure. "...stop pulling your arm in one handed backhand" what the fuck? Nice attempt though

  • I suggest less cock intake. And stop pulling your arm in one handed back hand, make it flow... like the shit out your ass after your ball feeder rails you.
