  • CAN YOU HEAR ME???

  • Thanks for this great upload.

This is my favourite song from the WOAD album.

I haven't seen this before. Just great :-)

  • footage from once upon a time in the west would fit outlaw pete too

  • il grande silenzio - great ..

  • I think that some of this footage comes from Pale Rider and also from High Plains Drifter.

This was indeed a treat coming from The Boss of Rock and Roll.

Talk about Surprize! Surprize! Surprize! Never in a million years would I dream that Bruce Springsteen would go full blown Western.

This is just way toooooooo Coooooooooool

  • cant compare the boss with kiss two different types of rock and roll both are good in their own right, and you cant use an experiemental song based around disco to slag off kiss and big up bruce!

  • Could anyone tell what the movie is called?I'm guesing is "Outlaw Pete"?...

  • great vid, classic song, legend. thx

  • A classic Bruce-themed song! A guy who can do all the good he wants, but he still can't escape from his past!

"The past is never the past. It is always present. And you better reckon with it in your life and in your daily experience, or it will get you. It will get you really bad. It will come and it will devour you, it will remove you from the present. It will steal your future and this happens every day."

He said that in an interview! A genius, that guy is! ^_^

  • amazing song, but I don't really see the video contributing much.

  • this song is awesome!

  • i cant it was unbelievable at glastonbury and also in dublin loved it

  • can you name a better song live?

  • Prove it all night?

  • Ya, this song is good, but I have a better song live. I think it is a tie between The River and Badlands.

  • lost in the flood

  • I am a massive Bruce fan but I hated this song when I first heard it. But after watching him perform it at Glastonbury, I listened to it again on the Working On A Dream album and it is a stunning work of art.

  • im an outlaw pete, outlaw pete, can u hear me? Can u hear me? Can u hear me?

  • I'll put money on it, most have not realised just how long this song is! 8:12 minutes, very very long by most standards. no half measures with our bruce!

  • The Boss is the Boss. It's okay

  • this song is unbelievable live

  • i was made for lovin you? DISCO SHITE!!

this is an epic, its the audio equivelantof a Sergio Leone movie, it evokes an atmosphere, try experiencin a Springsteen gig, before you criticise, 3 hrs on average, without any overblown stage props required, oh aye and a band thats predominantly been with him for 30+ years unlike the Gene Simmons production line of musicians pretending to be Ace & Peter!!! Rock N Roll Dude!!!

You want Rock N Roll, GO SEE BRUCE!!! ITS AN EDUCATION IN WOT REAL MUSIC IS!!

  • @daclarob yeah go c springsteen if u want to be bored to sleep

  • I was made for loving you baby...

  • BRUCE DA DADDY AND DA BOSS

  • WHO IS THE BOSS THEN

  • greatest song!!!!

  • BEST SONG EVER

  • You know, when it comes down to it, their are several awesome.

If you beleive it ends at Godly-awsome, you are dead wrong.

I think it's safe to say the ultimate level of awesomeness in this world is Bruce-Awesome.

And only one person has ever acheived that, and ever will.

  • same thing bruce is god

  • The Boss is a ledge !!!! Best ever song !!!!!

  • The Boss was abs superb at Glasto. Best gig I seen since Freddie at live aid (1).

  • the BOSS RULED AT GLAST shame he wasnt on for longer fkin A

  • i saw his consert the 4th of june 2009 in stocholm stadium. it was really a dream come true! ive loved this man since forever, my parent been listening to him growing up too, so i guess its in the genes.

  • def. one of the best songs on the new album, saw him 2 weeks ago in stockholm.. awesome

  • Great song.. I saw him in Bergen, Norway this week.. And his performans on this song was brilliant..

  • love this song <3

  • I Love It! I saw a vid here with the Bruce/Kiss combo connection, was kinda funny. But as stated before, its a simple beat , but it's a great one. It Feels good. In this day and age, its hard to NOT find a similarity from one song to a song of past. It's just the circle of Life. lol. Cool video Montage for the vid.Tx Sanctified.

  • I saw Bruce a few days. Damn that was amazing! Would love to go back in time. About this song. I don't get it, why so hard? I mean it is a beat. Go to Goldplay and Joe Satriani that is copying. But this? No way this is so damn diferent, and beautiful!

  • Great song

  • i do kind of agree with you its not one of his best but its not that bad and god damn you badboyburton i live in Britain anh hardly ever comes on tour here grrr

  • my dad is thinking about taking me to go and see bruce i can't wait if we do

  • get him to take you to bruce's last time playing in giants stadium. its going to be epic. my dad is taking me to all three.

  • BigTed clean your ears..How long you been a Bruce fan? He writes epics, not one note wonders, going back a few years, listen to Nabraska, The River. Born in the USA

  • I agree it's not his best, but I love the last couple minutes of the song. About 6:25 and on

  • What a shame you cant appreciate beauty big ted

  • Nice video, good job!

  • se parece demasiado a la cancion de "i was made for loving you" de KISS ;) aunk kiss son mejores k este tio

  • que buena cancion...hace mucho que no escucho algo tan bueno. gracias Bruce!!

  • legend, immortal, incredible

    <3

  • words cant describe how good this was.

  • i LOVE this song. Bruce's the best

  • ...Awesome video...

  • Nice work....

  • Anyone tell me the name of the film?

  • Bruce kept me sane, had four kids,Sunday was Bruce Day, that was back in the 80's. They now have families of their own, now get phone calls got any links to Bruce.

Way to go Bruce on Second and Third generation..

  • Gina we loved it, I just watched it with my son. Beautiful work.

    Can Ya Hear Me!

  • It sure is one of the bosses finest moments!

  • what fun! thanks for this.

  • goog pozdro z POLSKI

  • Bruce is cute and i love this song

  • Sure Kiss couldnt write anything like this, are they poets? Dont think so..This song is with you, 24/7, agree it should bemade into a film. So much potential. Can You Hear Me.....wonderful.

  • BRUCE!!!!!!!!

  • Wenn das Lied nicht geil ist, dann weiß ich auch nicht mehr!!

Bruuuuucccceee, can you hear me?????? This is the best Song from your Album!!! :-))))))

  • English& Español

we say in Spanish: Can a donkey taste the flavour of a mint sweet???.. it's impossible. This is happening to those who establish comparaison between THE BOSS and Kiss. ¡Que sabrá un burro lo que es un caramelo de menta!.. Vaya tela! Establecer comparaciones entre el BOSS y kiss.. Inaudito!

  • I love the story that runs through my mind when i listen to this song! Best song on the album and someone should make this a feature film. The Coen brothers or Tarantino or someone like that

  • i saw all clint eastwoods westerns song fits them

  • Genial !!! Bruce y Clint juntos...en el mismo video....Una idea estupenda que has tenido santified4one... un montaje soberbio...

    Me encanta esta canción...

  • great!!! i love this song - Bruce forever!!!!

  • fantastic....thanks, from the UK, this cd went all round Cornwall,.Bruce went to places he wouldnt know...Again thanks, we English are very polite...

  • great music- great story teller- thanks again- BRUCE!!!!!!!.

  • Kiss was a joke. Springsteen is a legend. This song is awesome.

  • What the hell does KISS have to do with this song?:P i don't see many severe insults directed towards KISS in the song, so why bring them up?:P

  • There are some similarities in this song and Kiss' "I was made for loving you baby" and there's been some copyright bullshit

  • gratefulzeppelin ur joking right? kiss was nothing besides a bunch of sellouts,a joke, untalented, people who couldnt make it so they had to put makeup on to get notice. the song does sound a little like i was made for loving you but it is in a total different key. springsteen has done more things for music then kiss can ever do.

  • You tell 'em estreetpeppers!! Long live the BOSS!!!! Its really nice that Bruce put Danny Federici's name in there! he was awesome! My dad is a FANATIC of bruce!! I bet you hes Bruce's # 1 fan! all my dad does is listen to bruce! he has ALL his DVDS ALL his CDS and plays them ALL the time!!! which made me like bruce also! LOVE YAH BRUCE!!!

  • tell your dad he has alot of company ,i;ve been following his music since the 70;s and he has good taste ,the mans been doing this for 40 yrs and never won record of the year thats criminal

  • Awesome, the story of a guy who wanted to be known for something, fighting for the right in this land. And though he got stopped, the legacy of Pete will live on.

  • Well, I'm "Outlaw Pete, I have a "Good Eye" for "Life Itself" and this is "The Last Carnival", baby! "Surprise Surprise", this is "My Lucky Day", see "What Love Can Do" "Working on a Dream" "In This Life" and as "Tomorrow Never Knows" take a good look at our "Kingdom of Days", let me be your "Wrestler" and be my "Queen of the Supermarket"...

Episode inspired on Springsteen's "Working on a Dream", by me

    José, Lisboa

  • you need to get laid...

  • Right, but just a little bit in the phrases, it's very different

  • you're serious ?

  • I just love the irony of the nearby video title - presumably uploaded by a Kiss fan - 'Springsteen's outlaw pete and Kiss'. A subliminal admission that all this fuss is about trying to match a single track from a giant against the very existence of one-dimensional extras.

  • who really gives a rats arse if this sounds like a KISS track, they are not even on the same level as the legend that is SPRINGSTEEN......

yet again the BOSS delivers an incredible song that manages to draw the listeners in with an explosive arrangement...

Bono was right .....'he aint the Boss he is the owner as Springsteen owns America....

  • killer vid! i'm actually working on a similar vid right now for this song. yours is excellent. ******!

  • Cool... I look forward to it!!! :) Ty!

  • Don't care where the "chords" came from this track is brilliant - it's got to be rated as one of the best he's ever done.

  • Give a listen now..this will be a classic for many years to come

  • Chords belong to everybody. Kiss had no where near this much attention to detail or development, not that they weren't fun.

  • A absolutly superb song by The Boss.

This song is by far his best EVER!

Really like this song, best track on the new album.

  • this song would go good with the good the bad and the ugly

  • Why not? Kiss stole from Argent, Petra and Russ ballard. example "God gave Rock and Roll to You"

  • Those were "covers"...

    Complete something different.

  • Kiss did not steal this song. They covered it and gave writing credits to Argent. That happens everytime a band covers another bands song. This is different. Bruce used the same melody without crediting Kiss for it. That is where the trouble comes in.
