I just bought an xbox identical to this one, except it has a clear shroud, and no LEDs except on the talismoon fan and a busted DVD drive.... I'm gonna fix the DVD drive, cut a window out on it, to a fan mod and xclamp fix on it, also I'm adding LEDs to light it up

@slicktracks1 You buy the case premade offline. I am going to buy a Smoke GhostCase with green LED's and a green talisman whisper fan.

Usually you get a clear Disk Drive case and wind tunnel. So you can see the disk spin and you can also see your fan light up if you get a modded one like I am.

@ballinpoptart yes the kit works on all cases no matter what but if the case is not see through the glow will escape through vents only which i think looks better than having leds everywhere. just snap the PCBs into the vent holes and install the lights

i never had an issue with disks getting scratched while mine was standing up. But i now lay mine on its side. I think its better to lay it on its side, standing it up blocks the bottom air vents off.

i fixed the problem, its to do with the 360 fan and adapter running at 5volts not 12volts needed for the ~LED's to work, so find a 12v sorce and wire ir up =-]

for a 12 volt, use the very bottom right cord of the cd drive

install fan just open the case up /take out the dvd-drive/take out wind tunnel/then unplug the fan then put the whisper fan in the socket where the old fan was then put back in then the tunnel then the dvd-drive then the case turn on and wala done hope this helps

you can put an talismoon twilight flow on it. You can have it even with leds. that's what i gonna do with mine. put it whil be with a window and a XCM core cooler v2 and there will be a window in my dvd drive.
