  • FF is my favourite artist, but John Buscema did Conan as it should be done!

  • Todd Mclarlane, Jim Lee copied Arthur Adams style of drawing charatcters. JLGL is a watered down version of Neal Adams artwork.

Jack Kirby is the greatest comic book artist ever hands down !!!!!!!!!!!!.

    R.I.P Micheal Turner

  • I bet Arthur Adams is thrilled by this lol.

    "Monkeys WTF?" -A.Adams

  • @tubesox000 Hey, he is the best at drawing Monkeys. Do you know anyone better ? Besides, I also said he is my second favorite x-men artist.

  • I'd go Ed Benes for Females.

  • @Reetlegna Another good choice.

  • In my choice the best artist to draw women is J Scott Campbell

  • @TheSugarKitteh Campbell is great. He would be my second or third choice to draw women.

  • some pretty badass artists, but mostly restricted to the pre-1990s era. I totally agree that JLGL is the artist that I most wished to emulate as a child, he could draw all the DC characters like pureely good Olympians: handsomely, majestically, dynamically! His drawing had some fine flourishes, and I also agree with John Byrne. I think it's of course based on Chris Reeve. I read Spider-Mna first, with McFarlane, your video appeals to my own feelings.

  • @wayzotoichi Thanks. I'm glad we agree.

  • IMO...Carlos Pacheco in recent yrs did the best Supes. Neal Adams still reigns as king on Batman. Although I saw only draw Cap in an Xmen book, 4 Cap I picc JimLee. Spidey = JRsr. Women = Dave (rip) Stevens. Punisher...no opinion, although I think Bradstreet traces. Costume design/Dave Cockrum Punisher...no opinion, but Frazetta is my all time fave artist. I wish he had done more w/ Marvel & Dc Characters.

If I ever get my WMM back on track I'll go n2 more depth.

    Nice post, Tony!

  • @pmknight12 Thanks a lot. Nice list.

  • WRONG! Superman is best drawn by either Tom Grummett or Dan Jurgens. Batman is best drawn by Norm Breyfogle. Jack Kirby is overated!

  • @themextacy Well, this video is my opinion. And opinion is nether right or wrong.

  • @themextacy Jack Kirby overrated"!!? Hey, and I'm not even a real Kirby fan! He may not have been the best drawer of people; but, c'mon, it IS all the other stuff found in a Kirby drawn panel--stuff that the vast majority of other comic artists (one possible exception being Jim Steranko) couldn't even conceive of! He created devices, races, worlds, realms, a whole style of storytelling. His level imagination hadn't been seen before--or since! You're way off base with that statement fella.

  • Good Shouts! - Neal Adam's = Batman, John Byrne = X- men, Bob Layton = Iron Man,

    Spiderman = John Romita,Hulk = Dale Keown,Mike Zeck = Captain America,Brian Bolland - The Flash. - Great video very interesting choice's.

  • @comicbuyer Thanks. There is some good choices on your list too.

  • Cool video! I especially like the shout out to Kirby. Although,I would say my favorite artist for cheesecake (women) might be Adams Hughes.

  • @edward2962 Thanks ! Adam Hughes is a great artist. He is my second favorite artist to draw women. In my opinion Turner is better, but only by a small margin.

  • I agree with you on Jim Lee and Michael Turner,

I never read any of the X-Men Comics he drew, but I have two graphic novels he did the art for, "All-Star Batman and Robin" and "Batman:Hush", both have some of the best if not the greatest artwork ever.

As for Michael Turner, he sure knew how do women and make them sexy.

I also agree on Todd McFarlane and Jack Kirby.

I think Steve Ditko should've goten an honorable mention, but good vid man.

  • @sfighter991 Thanks.
