As with Faust this band grew out of a commune and improvisation was a major part of what they were up to. Incredibly the beginings of the Virgin 'empire' involved selling this sort of material by post and then through a first floor cramped shop on Oxford Street. I once got my Dad to buy Amon Duul's 'Dance of The Lemmings' double from this hippie enclave. He said they were very helpful, as hippies usualy were.

excerpt from one of the better sessions they did that year. falk was back and renate waiting at the door. peter was the last of the group, who decided to play mainstream instead of music. the others started in 74 to destroy amon düül. peter did so in 76.
