Her voice and beauty continue to be breathtaking. I know I will never be fortunate to meet Melanie or even see her in concert, but I know I am very blessed by having her music in my life.
I was there as one of the 600,000 in 1970 and there again in 2010 to see Melanie. It was truly an emotional moment to see her as she performed her songs. I had the privalage of meeting her on the Monday too....
I've been there in 1970, right in front of the stage. After a breathtaking two-hours-concert of The Who it was very courageous by Melanie to perform afterwards. Not forgetting: morning was already dawning. And she did a fantastic set with only her acoustic guitar and got a huge round of applause
Still sad that I didn't get to see her performance this past weekend at the Edmonton Folk Fest (Canada) :(, but I see some pictues are already posted on the festival's site, and this clip has made me feel a bit better....! Thanks!
