UF's median GPA for entrance is a weighted 4.1. Take WEIGHTED to mean whatever you want, but just let it be clear that UF students aren't all 4.0's on a 4.0 scale. And yes, she CAN be stupid. Even the Ivies have stupid students. Where do you think the money comes from?
