  • JELLO MOD!

  • Въебал бы еще каустику для полного счастья!

  • w00t?

  • the only thing i have to say about it is the melt modifier, its to flat in the end but besides its well done

  • Excellent animation, except maybe the speed that is in my opinion quite too fast :)

  • HOW DID YOU DO THAT??????

  • Holy shit its the T1000 !!!

  • i dont know what i just watched, but it looked amazing

  • @elrobbo6

    thanks for your comment!

You are right - the animation is not perfect and there are a lot of things to optimize.

But this one was one of my first 3D-animations and I just wanted to show the world what I've made ;-)

  • @katzingerc2

Who cares about the shadows, the textures.

This is more than most can do, so hats off to you.

Keep them coming, so we can watch you progress in the world of 3D Magic.

  • @cffpromo

    thx, man

  • @elrobbo6 Really? I enjoyed it. Infact I'm glad he put it up!! It's interesting, and made me want to download 3DS Max and hope that someday I might be as awsome as the fine sir who made this masterpiece!! Long Story short, You wrote an entire comment complaining about something that nothing can be done about, have a nice day.

  • @scampynoXD I'm sure you did, which is sad. Also, I was not complaining I was merely informing. If you downloaded Max you would be able to do this too in about 10 min. plus render time. I help teach this program to people. Just giving him some pointers.

  • @elrobbo6 As an avid user of Max I can say that learning the material editor enough to create this type of material and also learning some basics about animation takes a whole lot longer than ten minutes. Also, as a teacher you will know that learning for different people has so many variances that it is just rude to rip on someone who has only been playing with it for a year. This kind of behavior is de-motivating and not even suited for children.

  • @elrobbo6 I do not say this to be rude but that consideration for others hard work is important to motivate and eventually (hopefully) lead to greater work. However, I do understand that in industries you will need to get used to harsh criticism but as someone outside of the various industries it is always good to attempt to inspire better skills than just point out the bad in some areas.

  • @elrobbo6 Actually, this site is called YOUTube for a reason. I think this is an excellent animation and frankly I enjoyed seeing it. Lots of other users upload videos and animations of their work to merely share it with the world, that's what people do on youtube. I'm an animator and also share my work with people. It's not just about wanting feedback and critiquing, it's also demonstrating your abilities and what you've done. Some people enjoy that.

  • @elrobbo6 i would hate to burst his bubble to, because its FUCKING CHUCK NORRIS WORTHY

  • omg that was a very epic 10 secions or so

  • awesome. very good job, how long have you had 3d studio max

  • @ZiegHolloway

thx! i was working with 3ds max for about 1 year before making this.

  • TEACH ME!!!!

  • Nice!

  • Damn nice

  • hey can you make a tutorial for the material an the anmation please

  • thats very impressive

  • Briliant!

  • 3d max is gay...its a waste of time!!!!

  • @000TKA345 lol why do you say that?

  • @000TKA345 Why you think so?

  • Water material + Twist Modifier + another modifier xD

  • Are you referring to making the animation or to render?

If you are making the animation then yes it will be based on the person skills and knowledge but if it to render (creating a movie file) then it will be based on your computer and how many computers working on frames.

  • COOL ME USE REALFLOW very beginner at first i did not know how to do crap!now i know how to make moters

  • that looks really cool how did u do that ??

  • ,its pretty simplea ctually its just allot of modifires

  • Hehehe! U make me thirsty!

  • damn cool!

  • Totally amazing....

  • Nice!!! OMG :D How long did you render it water is pretty complicated in 3D max so realy nice :)

  • i think it took about 14 hours to render =)

  • Very nice :) and yeah these complicated materials needs realy big time... i can't imagine how movie producers are making these effects in such a fast time. They must have 2x Duo - duo Core LOL :D and 10 GB or ram :D hehe just kiddin, but it's realy cool :)

  • oh man for a computer enthusiast like me, watchin you write somethin like "2x duo -duo core" and thinking 10gb of ram is a ridiculous amount is making me do a serious facepalm right now

  • Yeah that's right... don't worry i don't think that something like this i wrote even exist, but i do believe that there are already Terabite harddrives... Well i only think it's called TERABITE :D 1 Terabite is like 1 000 Gigabites i think ^^

So who knows... and i think there are 4 slots fot memory (i think you have them too :) ) so you can have let me think 2 GBs of memory x 4 so 8 maximal... today :D That's crazy :D haha

  • dude of course there are terabyte hard drives now. there pretty common. and in some desktops you can have 32GB of ram! man you got some learning to do

  • hehe but i know that all... why do you think i'm writting it for XD don't need to learn more about hardware...

  • cathal6000 you're a pathetic sun of a bitch!

Why the fuck do you care about someone who is saying "2x Duo - duo Core"? We all know what the mean right!?

  • quad core is better with 4gb of ram

  • as apposed to a lower amount? thats pretty obvious dont you think?

  • No 3ds max have network rendering so 100 computers working on one movie clips = 100X faster.

  • That's sure thing... it's like making an online game and to make it work correctly and faster you need more computers...

  • not true... 100 computers working on one movie cant be 100x faster ... btu something like 50x faster

  • Sorry I disagree, each computer work on a frame so 100 computers= 100 frames that what network function that way they all don't work on one frame at a time.

    I done network rendering before.

  • @f2004w okay but i had not understand:

I had not read the other comments, I thought you were speaking of the animation work, so 100 computers = 100* faster but what I tought was that 100 men out of 100 computers is not 100* faster, you know what I mean ?

  • @katzingerc2 what 14 hours to render thats a 7 sec for 14 hours still its very intresting

  • @Tallos1 kinda terminator T-1000 :)

  • did you use meshsmooth, melt, bend.beveling and noise in the order? just got 3ds :)

  • yes - exactly!

  • You must be a god!

  • Kinda looks like a cup right before it melts.

  • quote:

MeshSmooth, Melt, bend, beveling and noise.

    great job,keep it up!

  • thx a lot!

  • Thats cool. I like the form before melting..

  • is this made with an addon?

  • very nice my vid should be done rendering in 10 days lol

  • i have another quesiton for you ) ... did u used morpher? or just did transofrmed the mesh along the timeline )

  • i just changed the values of the modifiers along the timeline.

  • hey man.. what modifiers u used besides noise? it would really help to know which ones..thnx )

  • i don't have the english version of the program, so i hope the translation is right:

MeshSmooth, Melt, bend, beveling and noise.

  • thnx )

  • that was cool. was it hard to do that?

  • Comment removed

  • A whole bunch of morph targets? Looks good thanks for sharing.

  • Was this rendered with Mental Ray or V-ray?

  • with mental ray

  • WOW its awesome

  • Omg it's great! Such works keeps on reminding me, how much I still have to learn :)

  • thank you all!

    no - it's NO realflow!!!

as I said: an ordinary sphere with water-material and a few modifiers - that's it!

  • thats a really good water material! how did you make it?

  • it's the default water-material in "architecture"

  • WOW Teach me, man!!! I can´t believe my eyes, How did you do that? WOW (realflow? ;D)

  • Those are displace, ripple, melt modifiers? Looks funny : )

  • Real Flow 4 powa ^_^

  • can u upload 1 video with the tutorial of this creation?

  • de quecolor es la bola porque me gusta para mi q es transparente pero visible

    (argentina)

  • buenos aires yo :D (?)

  • WOOWW

    u are good!!!!!!!

  • amaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazing

  • pretty cool, simple, but cool

  • wow

  • ive been using 3ds max for 2 days now and i can create a simple rocket with no animation, looking at this makes me feel usless! lol! is this easy to get to grips with?

  • don't worry =)

such an animation is very easy to make.

i built a simple sphere and used a few modifiers (for example noise). then i changed the modifier-values at the end of the timeline -> that's it.

you just have to know a little bit about modificators and simple animation.

  • im a lot better now...well at modelling..havnt tried the animation yet though, thanks anyway man

  • i'm looking forward to see some of your works here =)

    good luck!

  • WOW!

  • Very nice, reminds me of the XBOX splash when you load a XBOX game.

  • awesome

  • yes - you are right. i was just playing with a few modifyers.

it took about 20 minutes of work...and 8 yours to render =)

  • This is very easy if you know what the modifyers in max do(u need bout 2 weeks of working with them and a good tut) In the example he used noise, twist and melt

  • seems you are right!

  • I hardly believe that can be done in Max without any type of script or plugin. The author has not even mentioned a clue of what he used.

  • Its just realflow =)

  • it's not realflow at all. modifiers all the way

  • nah, not twist... something else. Morph targets+noise perhaps

  • twist+noise?

  • Is this a morph deformation?

  • yes . how DID you do that?

  • how did you do that

    that was cool

  • wow i like it can u show me how to do this? also wat renderer u used?
