as far as the bass goes, you just dont get the same groove as you got with dirk, you know? i'll always miss that from the older albums, but the change in bassist allowed for a more dramatic change which kept incubus relevant and not repetitive.

They need their following but at the same time they have to stay away from the norms of pop music to thrive as a musically driven and talented band; instead of selling out and producing garbage. Pop bands often become corrupted by capital interests... I'd say let the populace listen to their "music", we have the real deal here, incubus for life.
