It's not him that's bad he chose to have his sax have a different sounding to it, personally I like both. It's whatever sounds appeals to the artist. So NO it is NOT rust... GOD

well, i would say alto, because i play one. but its really ur own opinion, u shouldnt listen to the other ppl, cuz it wont help. The best way to compare is to either listen to some one who has an alto and/or tenor, or compare SirFoster to charlez360 (who plays tenor). good luck!

Anyways, I play tenor. If your looking for the soprano range go pick the alto but if you want the baritone range go pick the tenor.

Baritone bein the loweeest sound and soprano being a high sound.

I played Tenor + Alto + Bari

So if your starting our I would reccomend Tenor because then you can easily go up or down in instruments.

Alto needs a way tighter mouth and its hard to seal the corners, but other then that its awesome.

Tenor is fun and sounds so nice but its so heavy.

And Bari is so easy to play but you're usually stuck with the bass parts unless you play in a Jazz setting.

Alto - Melody

Tenor - Harmony + Melody

Bari - Bass + Jazz

I am a beginer. i dont know how to read music and my teacher said for beginers i should try the alto. currently im playing the alto. i like it. its small light weighted and comfortable.However, i like the sound the tenor makes, but i already bought an alto ligature and reeds.
