  • INDEED STAR WARS HAS A HIDDEN MESSAGE IN IT ABOUT OUR WORLD AND OTHERS IF U WATCH it u will see

  • GOD in star wars would be "THE FROCE".

The quotes taken from the Old Testament of the bible were rules GOD give to the Jews! As the Jews believed in him and were GOD's chosen people then GOD expected them to follow his rules and when they did so he defended, protected and fed them, when they broke the rules there was punishment!

GOD doesn't expect us to kill anyone who doesn't believe in him, clearly this passage has been twisted to make it sound like that. Remember the bible says do no kill

  • @51wins

"The quotes taken from the Old Testament of the bible were rules GOD give to the Jews"

Correct. This does not in any way alter the fact that god ordered the jews (or anyone for that matter) to do things that most people find detestable.

  • @Captain42x ever read the bible and thought maybe the Lord your God or the Lord their God(as he is refered to in the OT) is not God at all but maybe Satan wanting to be like God ? See the creations in Genesis 1 vs Genesis 2 and you will see what I mean.I believe Lord God is only a title meaning the son of a God. Jesus is Lord of Lords. I know you don't believe in the Bible but maybe everybody has just misread it. Also see john 8:44 Jesus says the jews are of their father the Devil.

  • EVOLUTION!!!! LOL

  • @TheCommanderPro err... what does evolution have to do with anything?

  • @Captain42x idk all i know is you have a point.. Honestly thier are too many gods for our got to be the right one just saying im with evolution and the big bang!!

  • Creepy... ever notice how the Moses story is exactly like Frank Herbert's "Dune" where the old Fremen Generation is killed off in Eugenics in Wilderness=Arrakis in Dune; so a Fanatic bunch of young people can be conditioned/socialized to be Genocidal Fanatics when they invade Israel by Joshua??? Like Moses is Kwisatz-Haderach Paul Muad'ib... check that out.

  • I haven't heard of that before, but it sounds interesting! Thanks for commenting.

  • Lol this is entertaining, can't take it serious ofc, nice trolling :)

  • What happened was this:

George Bush quoted this line from the bible as a way of dissing countries that wouldn't support the invasion of Iraq, and then George Lucas put that in the movie to criticize the attitude Bush was promoting.

  • I mean the quote about "anyone who is not with me is against me."

    4:00

    Numbers 14

To be fair, this was after the Israelites asked to go back to Egypt, and talked about stoning Moses, Aaron, and Joshua for telling them not to.

Still, good video for showing how the Bible is not consistent with its own teachings and morals.

  • Are u 4 real man? "Into exile this video must go, failed you have"

  • If you'd like to actually explain what you don't like, I'd be happy to argue with you about it, rhandy99

  • Well first of all this is not real! You could find parallel comparison in most all feature films.

  • Whether Palpatine is real isn't important, rhandy99.

We can agree that Palpatine, even as a fictional character, is selfish, power hungry, and despicable. How do we know this about him? Simply look at his behavior.

    Palpatine orders genocide

He destroys planets to spread fear

He brags about how much power he has, and always seeks more power

He kills even his own followers when they disappoint him

    and much more.

The sad thing is that god engages in every single one of these nasty behaviors.

  • Jesus was a man trying to point that out he was a jedi lol he was against religion which at that time worshipped the sun...this got him killed and his teachings were bastardized and made into a religion known as Christianity..where satan disguised as being jesus is worship ..Jesus would have been outrage if he saw the state of his teachings today

  • "Jesus would have been outrage if he saw the state of his teachings today "

An interesting view, mesa134, and one that I used to agree with.

In your opinion, is Jesus actually any kind of supernatural figure? Or just a philosopher?

  • I think he was a mirror to our sou which we can relate too something lights up within us all in the midst of people like jesus, mohadmmad, ghandi ,buddah and more... certain people saw this as a threat because cause up till then religion was a control mechanism with some leaders even go as far as to call them selves demi-gods..

  • thats pretty good

  • This is a fantastic video. You should receive a reward for this. I wish there were more stars. I have always compared "god" in these terms. Bravo.

    Now about that Blockbuster rental...

  • Thank you very much, TaurusCanser!

  • Yeah, I think the God of the old testament is Darth Sidious for sure.

  • And so is the God of the new testament, with his monstrous vows to burn up the world.

  • wow now ur trying to compare god against the emporer atheist s must really be running out of ideas what are you going to do next compare mary to spock. holy shit u are a nerd!

  • I don't see why. Show me one comparison that was wrong!

The Emperor Deals in absolutes - God deals in absolutes

The Emperor orders Genocide against his enemies - so does god

The Emperor destroys planets - so does god

The emperor boasts of his almighty power - so does god

Darth vader kills his own followers - so does god.

    etc.

The problem, is that you haven't been exposed to alternate viewpoints, and thus think they are crazy, even when every single comparison lines up perfectly.

  • look why don't you just "try" god i mean i didn't beleive in god for a long time but now i do im just saying you should give it a shot.

  • I used to believe in God, but now I refuse to because I know he acts like this.

I could never allow myself to worship someone who preaches love and peace, but acts like a terrible dictator.

  • I have some points against what you have in your video.

    1. Yes, God does deal in absolutes. Please tell me how you can be for Him yet not for Him.

    2. In Jericho, they kill every one but Rehab lived because she had helped the spies. God would let people live if they repented of their sin.

    3. You forgot the flood which destroyed the Earth. God will destroy Earth because of it's great sin.

    4. If Einstein said that he was smart, would you say that he was boasting?

  • Hey MegaStarWarsFan, thanks for commenting:

    1. It seems we agree on this one.

    2. God orders genocide in Deuteronomy NOT because the people were immoral, but because they did not praise him.

    3. Oh I did not forget the flood. You only proved my point - God is more then willing to kill anyone, and then says WE are the "evil" ones.

    4. Yes, it would be boasting. Obviously. You missed the point. God craves almighty power. Show me a Jedi who does this.

    5. They gave an honest report yet God censored it

  • 1. You never awnsered me question.

    2. Could you tell me which chapter that is in?

    3. God was angry that the people He made had turned against Him. He did save Noah and his family though because they fallowed Him.

    4. He does not crave power, He has all almighty power. He made the everything from nothing. If you could make something form nothing I would say that you are powerful.

  • 1. There is no question. I agree that God deals in absolutes.

    2. Deuteronomy 13: Go read it, in its entirety (it's not very long), and then tell me with a straight face that this is how a Jedi would act.

"If you hear of a town where sith are followed, you must kill everyone in that town then burn it to the ground".

A Jedi would NEVER speak like this.

    3. Nonetheless, he destroyed the world. Only the Empire does this in SW. Show me a Jedi who showed his love by drowning civilians.

  • 5. God had saved them from slavery and saved them from the egyptians. Then they see some big guys and only 2 out of 12 people have faith that He will deliver them into there hands.

  • 5. The men God killed were spreading false reports and were punished for it, but Joshua and Caleb lived because of their faith. Only the unfaithful and ungodly men(and women) died.

  • 1. That's not what I asked. I ask how can you be for God and yet against Him.

    2. What it says is "If you hear it said about one of the towns the LORD your God is giving you to live in that wicked men have arisen, saying Let us go and worship other gods", then you must inquire, prope and investigate thoroughly. And if it is true and it has been proved that this detestable thing has been done among you, you must put to the sword all who live in the town." I need a second point.

  • 2.5. God told them that they must investigate thoroughly. And they were(still are) His towns. With out Him they would still have been slaves in Egypt.

    3. The Bible says that "that every inclination of the thoughts of his[man] heart was only evil all the time. His[God] heart was filled with pain." But He still saved Noah and his family, because he still followed Him.

  • 1. For goodness sakes, you can't! Why are we having such a disconnect here?

    2. proving that they disobeyed God justifies burning down an entire city? Just where do you get your morals? Killing an entire population for religious reasons is not justified even if it is 100% true that they worship another God.

    3. Palpatine said every Jedi was evil, did that justify their murders? Just because a powerful figure says something does NOT mean that it is true. Judge men AND gods by actions, not words.

  • 1. All I'm saying is that I don't see how God could not deal in absolutes. You are for Him or against Him.

    2. Remeber the time. If they had fallen away from God then would be in rebellion against Him.

    3. Your compering a mortal man with the inmortal all knowing, all present, all see God. The man in this case killed men for being the bearer of bad news and because of things out of their control. God never did that. Sidious enslaved people because they were alians. God didn't do that.

  • lol As a Sith Lord I object to having my kind compared to God, a character who is clearly fictional!

  • Hahaha! I sincerely apologize for any offense, most glorious lord of the Sith!!! (I do not wish to be force-choked this afternoon!).

  • excellent vid

  • Very cool, but for the Death Star segment I think a passage from Noah's Flood would have been more appropriate.

  • That's very true, and it's not the only section that I considered changing.

For example, for the harming your own followers part, I later realized that there were great examples of God massacring by plague thousands of his followers because the king took a census.... lol.

Anyway, I think the video conveys my point adequately: Even if this god exists, I would never worship him.

  • good craftmanship, if a bit silly. but the video is well-made.

  • Yes, It is based on fictitious characters, but in my opinion it gets the point across.

My voice narrated videos (the RoM's) are generally more serious.

  • if you do not believe in the invisible man in the sky he will send you to Hell to suffer unimaginable pain for all eternity!!! but he loves you! LMAO what a load of shit! its sad that in our modern society people are still tricked into believing something as fictional as star wars =p

  • Absolutely.

And even if this god of theirs could be proven to exist, I still wouldn't worship him, for the reasons described in this video!

  • Your opinion is noted Captain42x, too bad opinions don't mean crap :P

  • Well my opinion is well supported with textual evidence: The God that is described in the Bible often behaves just like a fictional Sith lord.

I find it strange that he is worshiped as the source of love.

  • Glad you liked it!

  • Let us look at another dealer in absolutes,

"Do or do not there is no try"

    very interesting

  • Ah yes, Yoda and the Jedi just like the God of the Bible, are hypocrites and liars. It's actually quite sad since they are supposedly the ones we have to rely upon to "save" us.

  • nice video ;o

  • God's ideas of life and death are way different than how humans understand it. Death, is a part of life. But everyone believes now that death is a bad thing.

But if the evil are poisoning the minds of the good, then they should be punished. Death isn't the end. And no, I'm not talking about going to heaven or hell when you die; that's a misconception.

The thing is, God has every right to kill us. That's why we're made human and not spirit beings. Without God, we wouldn't exist.

  • Thank's for sharing your opinions, as usual, but of course I disagree. In my judgment of morality, God's actions are no different than those of Hitler, Stalin, and other cruel dictators.

  • Im a sith lord !

  • right...

Well actually there are many things that I admire about the Sith doctrine, but their mass slaughter (which God also does) is not one of them.

  • Is the statement, "Only a Sith deals in absolutes" an absolute? Hmmm...

  • Absolutely! Jedi, just like God, are hypocrites!

  • Amen, brother.

  • "Is the statement, 'Only a Sith deals in absolutes' an absolute? Hmmm..."

Only if you claim to know who is a Sith and who isn't. :P

  • Of course it's an absolute, and several other commentators have pointed this out.

Nonetheless, the main theme of the video is unchanged by this fact.

  • I would tend to disagree.

But yes, the theme is in good taste.

  • Fair enough, Ephemerance. Thanks for commenting!

  • Why is Satan reading the Bible?

  • Errr... perhaps you mean, why does god behave as Satan would?

  • you can make anything sound evil ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • My intent is not to make the bible *sound* evil,

knules2. I was born and raised as a christian, but one reason why I quit is because I saw god ordering mass murder in his own bible.

I'm trying to help other people see this too! This does not make me evil.

  • never said it made you evil besides i see it i just see the reason behind it

  • You accused me of being Satan! And you made that accusation under the assumption that Satan is evil, when in fact God has killed far more than Satan has.

  • never accused you obviously you don't understand me srry

  • Yeah you could have been a little clearer knlues2, but that's ok; I'm quite accustomed to believers uttering incoherent statements!

  • Who is heartless enough to harm his own followers? The people bringing a bad report were not his followers, they were trying to turn people away from God.

All of your quoted scripture is out of context and out of place. But cool idea none the less. The truth is out there, and you can find it!

  • Um they were actually God's followers, they simply brought an unfavorable report of the land.

  • Lets get deeper! God said they would conquer the land of Canaan. These 10 spies said the enemy was too strong and that it wold not be possible to conquer. By doing this 'unfavorable report' they were turning away from God by calling him a liar. They were with God, until they turned the people against God with their 'rebelious' report. Because of their report, the Israelites had to wander the wilderness for 4 decades.

  • Say you're Obama, you want to close Guantanamo or something, and your general tells you this is impossible. Do you kill him for disobedience like God did?

Of course not. You just find a new General, or take his advice. You do not kill someone because their assessment of the situation differs from yours, EVEN if they say you are a liar and you are wrong, and cause people to vote for someone else. It's just cruel.

Its a matter of forgiveness, of all things. God should be the expert!

  • Sith take for power, Jesus died a painful death to take away the power of sin and bring freedom, show me a sacrificial sith anywhere in any star wars mythology! If God created the earth, does he have the right to destroy it? Your quotes about God's power were not spoken by God but by people about God. People are praising, him, he isn't glorifying himself.

  • Actually, the last one was spoken by Jesus himself.

  • O, you are correct! But the other three are not.

  • Thats true, but nonetheless, even the last one is repeated over and over. And according to Jesus, the most important commandment is not to love others, but to worship and praise God.

    Love comes second.

God is obsessed with power, as was his "son". Only a Sith claims almighty power of this kind.

  • Well the sith guy did sacrifice his face while he was fighting with Windu to get Anakin to his side.

  • Yeah but I think George Lucas just wanted to have an excuse for Palpatine to have an evil-looking face.

  • "Only a sith deals in absolutes"

This is the stupidest phrase ever. The phrase itself is in absolute. Think about it. If all truth is relative, then what if my truth says yours is a lie? Is it still true?

  • I agree, and furthermore, you will probably notice that Obi Wan himself later classified Palpatine as "Evil". Lol he must be a sith as well!

However, my point here was to reveal disturbing similarities between the Bible and sith doctrine. Thanks for watching!

  • O well I believe the sith doctrine is the opposite of the Bible!

Luke 11:23 is showing that you are with God or not, there is no middle ground

Deuteronomy 13 and other similar scriptures is a list of destruction, for a specific group of people, for a specific time, in a specific place, They were told not to worship foreign Gods, which could involve anything from child sacrifice to Goat sex! They were told to wipe out this evil religion, and not become part of it,

  • RIght, but if they find someone worshipping another God, they are supposed to wipe out the whole city. There is nothing about specific time or place that I have seen in Deut 13.

  • Very true, but the entire 'law' (lists of rules in Exodus through Deuteronomy) was written to the Jews while ther were on their way to conquer Canaan. It is full of ranom and obscure laws, many are still used today, most are irrellivant. No You are correct Deut 13 does not put a specific time or place, but if you read the entire context of the 'law' you will get a bigger pictureof what is going on in this passage.

  • Well if you claim that some greater meaning can possibly justify the order for mass murder, why don't you briefly summarize this "in context" meaning.

It seems to me that in ordering genocide, God's action are no different than those of the Antichrist. Worship me, he says, or else!
