Hey ILHR. JFYT here. That is BEAUTUFUL! If only I could come to NY to ride with you. You are so lucky to have so many beautiful carousels in your area. We have one in portland, one in Cottage Grove, (both Loofs), one in San Fran that I have ridden recently, also a Loof, and one in Santa Cruz, many fond childhood and high school memories from there. they renovated the mall but I haven't been there lately so idk if its still there =/

i used to ride it to... childhood memories *cries* i've heard that their taking it out of the mall and selling it soon. WHY DID DANBURY FAIR MALL CHANGE OWNERS... WHY!!!!!

I don't know if the mall itself changed hands (they just renovated recently) but they already sold the ride to a company called Island Carousels, who as far as I know is keeping it there in Danbury and even fixing it up.  Island also has carousels in other malls across the country. So the only thing changing is that the carousel is now a tenant in the mall just like the rest of the stores.
