  • holaaaaaaa que tal giannyl!!!??? podrias decirme como se llama la tela que usas para la falda??? muchas gracias!!!

  • I will be making this!!!

  • Great Video!! I'm teaching myself how to sew and your videos are full of great ideas. Since I'm still in the beginning process of learning could you (or anyone of the viewers) explain why you cut the skirt fabric diagonally from the top and how did you determine the point to cut to? Thanks so much!

  • @mswangsarah cutting diagonally just because it makes a little flare. A lot of skirts are an upside down V shape where its more fabric at the bottom just for the flare effect. you determine the point where you cut to by measuring how long or short you want a skirt or dress to be, so if you are making a skirt for yourself just measure from the hips or whatever you wear your skirt from to your knee or ankle however long you want it. hope that helps.

  • @mswangsarah oh and also its much easier to walk in a long skirt when theres more fabric at the bottom. so if she had cut straight it might be hard to take large steps. :-)

  • @ssg279 Ahhh! Makes so much more sense now! Thanks!

  • I like how u have your name on ur jeans

  • Very cool! I like how you re-purposed the shirt. :)

  • Love how you don't even need to speak to show what you are doing and how easy your tutorial are to follow! You are doing a great job! Keep up the great work!

  • i love this dress!!! how do u come up with all ur ideas? i love when the hood is down not up but it is wonderful!!! How old r u? Plz reply to me as soon as possible.

  • I love your tops. I'm a beginner sewer and out of excitement I bought so much materials and patterns a year ago only to sew my heart out but fumbled on all the pattern instructions that I have more fabric than I know what to do with. After viewing your videos. I was so inspired to try again and sewed the two versions of the bat shirt and they look great! I love them. Thanks!

  • how do you make a top that shows your belly button and hangs off ya shoulder ? make one please

  • which video editor do you use? btw great videos hope you keep making more! :D

  • ooh i see lol i was like why was she sewing the shirt upside down but now i see why lol im a dummy :P

  • hi Gianny! :) I'm from the Philippines.. I would say that you're one of my mentors in sewing.. I've been making dresses ever since the day I watched Do-It-Yourself Videos on sewing, and your videos were some of them. This dress really wow-ed me. Who would have thought that reversing a tshirt would turn out gorgeous! You're really creative.. You go girl! ;)

  • Que chevere y tiene mangas!

  • that is smart

  • that's cute. =)

  • No homo.. but you're really pretty!!!

  • i would so like to her your voice =/ ... maybe you can make a "Question-Answer" video? =) ... in English or in Spanish wit h subtitles? =))

  • @jumpingcoconut videos are so easy to understand do you know how many time take to do such thing as a video with English subs?

you have to be dumb to not understand the videos LOL

  • @meow23 Nooooo!! You missunderstand me :) I meant a "Question-Answer" video, where people ask her things about her, her life, her source of creativity and so on. Maybe also complex sewing stuff (although I know that all these videos are really simple and i love to watch them!). She has to collect the questions and answer them in a video :) Understand now? :)

  • Hey i love your videos! This dress looks like it wouldnt stay up on its own. what is keeping it up? or what part of it? thankyou xx

  • @MaddMatch lol really? is that a real question or you just acting like you really dont know LMFAO

  • @meow23 Yes its genuine. When its not on her head. to me it looks like, because its off the shoulder, she has to keep her arms out/hands on her hip when its not being held up by her head. Maybe you can tell me?

  • You never cease to amaze me <3 this dress is so clever

  • Gia, you are my hero. you make me feel that anything's possible when it comes to remaking clothes!

  • did u get a new camera? love the giannyl jeans!!!!! :D

  • come on ladies save some money. making your own clothes is so much fun. and original

  • Heyyy is your name written in Your Jeans?! o.O or its just me? -_-

  • Watched this again just now: You sewed the shirt's COLLAR to the skirt? Genius! How do you come up with this stuff?

  • @joanna93003 I didnt even catched that, I was there wondering why she didnt sew the collar she cut. thanks for being a lil more observant than me :)

  • @juliecbow

I thought the same thing! When I watched it again, I noticed that when she held it up you could clearly see the entire T-shirt and that's when the hood part made sense. =)

  • Wow, this is really creative, and the outcome is so classy. My BF just gave me a bunch of his old shirts...Time to get out my fabric and make some dresses! Thanks! :D

  • wow you are so talented! i love this look, thanks for sharing! :)

  • Muy lindo! Beautiful =)

  • Nice jeans girl!

  • you r tooooooooooooooo creative i love it keep them coming

  • uh is that ur on brand of jeans i see ?

  • loved the idea! one question: what kind of stitch do you use to saw stretchy fabric with a regular sewing machine (not a serger)? it alwyas turns out weird when i try :( thanks a lot!

  • @annascotti3 I recommend a zigzag stitch. Or see if your machine has a setting for knit or stretch fabric. If not, go with zigzag.

  • lol the camera skills behind this is lush just made me laugh when they foccused on your jeans, seems like you have a male camera man

  • This is such a cool and easy dress! I have to tell you I have been looking for t-shirts in all the thrift stores now so I can sew some of your projects. hahaha

  • @runm026 I should clarify, that I look for oversized and large mens sizes. so much cheeper than buying fabric. lol

  • i love all ur ideas and projects keep makin them!!!:)

  • do you actually wear any of the stuff you make?

  • Sigue con tu estilo, no les hagas caso, asi como son tus videos son originales, muy explicativos. Me encantan tus jeans.

  • i love this dress! what do you mean by language barrier?

  • @JesseLeann10 I mean... I'm from Paraguay... the language we speak here is spanish and many of the viewers talk english... french..etc etc :)
