He wants the same thing just passed in Michigan which gives an appointed manager the power to dissolve local governments without any public input or discussion and sell assets off to the highest bidder. There is verbage that suspends thier ability to spend money and make a budget, but that is to be expected if the state has to come in and help. The they are able to claim UI benefits during summertime or get summer jobs, so to say they are under compensated is to be disingenuous at best. This figure is salary only not including benefits and pension they do not pay for. So they are compensated well, the average tax payer does not have this type of compensation at all. Also does not include the Upper eschelon like Superintendant, principle, and board.

Can someone explain to me how this has anything to do with corporate america? All Walker did was save taxpayer money by asking unions to helpay for their pensions and benefits. Yes he restricted collective barganing and remove it on benefits and pensions only. The wage increases are to be approved by the taxpayer who pays the bill anyway. He wants the same thing just passed in Michigan which gives an appointed manager the power to dissolve local governments without any public input or discussion and sell assets off to the highest bidder. One of the first things will be the prisons because there's a LOT of money involved there. The U.S. has a higher percentage of its people in prisons than any other country on earth. The more people in prison the more money made.

There is verbage that suspends thier ability to spend money and make a budget, but that is to be expected if the state has to come in and help. And how the hell does more prioners mean more money made. Last i checked it costed Government money to house individuals in jail. So I dont know where your getting ur info but it i off. There's big money in it for Corporations and don't think for a minute that they would donate to any political party that proposed reducing the number of people in prison. @FriedDaisy Yeah average teachers salary in Wisconsin is $47k for 9 months of work. The they are able to claim UI benefits during summertime or get summer jobs, so to say they are under compensated is to be disingenuous at best. This figure is salary only not including benefits and pension they do not pay for. So they are compensated well, the average tax payer does not have this type of compensation at all. Also does not include the Upper eschelon like Superintendant, principle, and board.
