  • Its sounds so funny fast forwarded, Im gonna get aion this weekend and download it and not sure if I should choose Elyos or Asmodian, sorcerer or sm. I played wow before and I had a warlock and I loved it and I heard a sm is like a warlock. But I also love mages. Hehe.

  • uhm.. Non-stop until A. You run out of mana. B. Your pet gets low on HP. C. You pull aggro and you're low on HP. etc. All classes have some sort of downtime unless amazingly well geared for their level.

  • Mana pots are only 50 kinah a piece i believe. It's very easy to keep mana up at lower levels.

  • more like 1000-1500. Spiritmasters are pretty worthless in end-game anyway, no burst damage for pvp and shitty dps in pve.

  • You're another one terribly misinformed my friend.

Spiritmasters are excellent dps and they have the best pvp crowd control of any class. If you're in an abyss battle against the other side you will notice the difference not having an SM with you to control their healers and keep the pressure up.

Currently the only real issue with SM dps in end game is DoT stacking. SM DoTs dont stack with the same DoTs from a 2nd SM. So having more than 1 SM is detrimental.

  • Lol spiritmaster so less damage than a crit specced templar even does at level 50. Their damage is slow and shitty after they removed spell crits from the game. The only thing they're good for a fear and keeping one enemy feared when you're fighting groups of 6 people isn't much considering how fast they'll be takent down by your group. I'd MUCH rather has high burst damage than some shitty DoTs and a fear when you're fighting 15+ people any day.

  • Lol i take back most of what i said, however I'd still rather brin a sorc to a group than a spiritmaster anyday.

  • So far im only level 14, but since I dinged 13 I dont stop until my quest is done ^_^

  • What does the DP bar do?

  • it charges every time you kill a mob(or opposite race) or using a item to fill it up and let u use DP skills wich use DP points

  • Looks promising. Thank you for posting this.

  • Seems a really nice class to solo...i wonder if u could put a list of the spells available and such...ive been tryin to get. Still tryin to find out what i wanna play. My gf is going to play a priest, so i was thinking about going templar to avoid the "LFG need tank"...but i don't know how much tanks are needed in this game or if there are many dungeons. Also, any ideas on how long would it take to get to level 50?

  • this game looks pretty sweet. is it any good?

  • good game if you're into MMO's!

  • aion come out in the fall of this year

  • do you got any clue when the game will be released or maybe when the beta come out for the normal gamers, I've heared something about 5th june (EU)

  • september 22 NA release date sept 25 EU relese...5th of june was start of the beta..if u pre order u can play on the beta weekends

  • Lol... get an earth spirit :O dump the fire xD

  • Do you have to point and click to Move Like Diablo or can you use the WASD keys?

  • Full WASD and keyboard customization is supported (I'm a SDFC guy myself).

  • Thanks for the quick response im in the US is there a way I can DL the Client or is it still in Beta?

  • The Friends&Family test for NA/EU just ended. In China/Korea the game is released already.

  • Nerf!

  • Rhea, shoo!!

  • *sadface*

    *shoos*

  • Spiritmasters arent that good in RvR i think, because the pets are unable to fly.. which is a great disadvantage i think.

Although the spiritmaster has some other nice skills.. like "decay wings" which reduces the flight time of your enemy extremly etc. pp.

And i dont know how the dmg output is because he only gains DoT spells... the ice and fire spell is a basic skill from lv <10 which i think wont do any dmg in high level.

    am i wrong?

  • Pet jobs usually get away with stuff like that. How is it for PVP tho?

  • Don't know yet. I do have a PvP concern though in that your pet will disappear if you get too far away, especially flying. Where a Sorc can stay in the air and rain down death from above.

  • yeah, u r killing non stop.. but everytime at a different location -.-

  • Fair comment, I just spliced together footage but I could have just let a video run I suppose. The gameplay for a spiritmaster does allow non-stop killing while keeping mana and health up high, watch the bars for yourself.

  • well what i see is:

you need 10% of your mana for a mob and about 33% for these elite.

    this is no nonstop...

i am hunting 1 hour nonstop with my chanter (lvl 19) and my mana is down to about the half.

  • Good to know about the chanter, I hear its a fun class. Keep in mind though, mages (at least at level 10) do have 2 mana reclaim spells that I fire off in between fights, thus keeping my toon close to 100% for about as long as my finger cares to click.

  • he can put mp treatement in skill chain and he'll kill "nonstop", some mobs will just take longer when he uses that spell. overall SM is THE pve machine, and very very decent in endgame organized pvp. of course other classes are better for ganking ppl because of the low burst dmg output of SM, especially in air, their heavy hitting spells are done by pet or after a fear (we're talking ~2.5-3k pet dmg and ~4k from dismiss polymorph)
