  • I've seen the other comments, but you're British right? Don't your replica firearms have to be two toned?

  • I fucking loved it!

  • I dig the shallow depth of field you used during filming. Looks like you shot at f1.8

  • @vincehollaway Cheers, its a f1.8 lens, however it was a 50mm which made it hard to film certain shots sometimes, specially with the crop sensor in the 550d.

  • the zombie no know run!

    effect special good

  • thx

  • also whats the name of the vest u hv on

  • @thematty2303 Not to sure, sorry dude. They cost about the vests. Ill check your vids now

  • Thx for the reply please can u check out my vids none of them have over 100 views and I'd appreciate if I'd check them out

  • @enaver ye where do u get your sa80s and British uniforms I've Been searching for ages

  • @thematty2303 I get my army gear from army surplus. But i get all the vests and gun holsters from military1st. As for the airsoft guns i get them from the top sites when i search "bb guns" or "airsoft guns" and just buy cheap ones and spray paint them.

  • What lens did u use

  • @thematty2303 50mm. I prefer the standard one you get though with the camera.

  • Where bouts in England are u based

  • @thematty2303 Kingston, in surrey.

  • What camera did you use?

  • @MrRobo001red 550d

  • wer u get that SA80

  • do u go to kings school

  • @moddify1 nope, wheres that?

  • Love this!! Could you tell me what editing system you use and what Music was used for this??

  • @TheHauntingsDirector Adobe Premire, Adobe after effects and for music i just looked online.

  • Reminds me of the whole Rydar White thing from Dead Island (I'm not saying these guys copied the game.)

  • That was decent

  • what editing did u use

  • SA80 FTW!

  • ok so what program is this

  • Cool video! :D

  • how do u get the blood effect when u shoot them

  • nice video. You'r based in england right? If so how do you get your airsoft guns the right colours because of the orange gun law.

  • @HendersonCharlie my guess is spray paint

  • Awesome shit man :D

  • airsoft

  • @ADHDisme451 Ofc they are airsoft guns, i cant run round with bloody real guns

  • @Enaver well with the way they look now im preety sure you could not tell the bloody difference.

  • @Enaver

bullshit, the house house guy has a break barrel air rifle!

  • @howlinglikethewolf1 no shit...

  • @Enaver what happened to no real guns fuckwit?

  • @howlinglikethewolf1 There is no real guns. Calm down and stop speaking like a moron.

  • need to work on sounds efects

  • AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Still can't wait for ep.3, Im donating!

  • Bravo you just got another "like" and subscriber. :)

  • actully the airgun is somehow realistic... it looks like a old/cheap hunting rifle

  • Your sound effects need alot of work though.

  • Pretty good.

  • G36.

    You german?

  • the issue I see so far is that you showed the stranger dude from the inside which makes the viewer more comfortable with the guy, you should have gone with an outside view looking at the soldier's back and the guy's gun thru the window. just a small thing for the future!

  • A airgun?

  • @Moulde And the rest are BB guns. Its a film dude.

  • @Enaver the rest looks like real guns, the airgun doesn't. great film though!

  • @Moulde Cheers, and i see

  • you know what, VERY good film, it really gives the surprise factor, and all the intended moods to the viewer. hope to see more

  • Awesome ! :D

  • Very good short film but ehy did the guy with G36 die

  • wow. which camera did u use? its epic for a low budget movie

  • @HighElfTyrion Canon 550d

  • @Enaver OH hey you know at the end he shot his wife and then you can hear another shot right before the credits begin does that mean he shot himself?

  • @erickpoint0 All part of the episode my friend

  • I love how much you guys are heavily criticising the video without taking anything into consideration but yet given the best filming equipment none of you can make something nearly as good as this. Bravo there will always be haters in this sad sad world.

  • @H20Oxide thanks alot for the support, nice to know that people do enjoy watching it and understanding how much effort and time has gone into making it. Thanks again.

  • good job. u guys put a lot of effort into this and now its good

  • how did you get the orange tip of the airsoft guns or is it editing

  • @mdbrown21 When i bought them i spray painted the guns myself

  • Double Eagle M85 ftw.

  • awsome this was really good ending with a little britian whatever made me laugh great job ima like

  • best zombie video ever.

  • Wish I could do stuff like this with my 550D....

  • @AJLogan1 Just takes a lot of effort. im sure you can

  • 03:10 You can see the camera reflection in the middle window.

  • @Sp33dyJohn No you cant, the angle where the camera is you cant see.

  • I think its been said that your sound needs work but other wise brilliant work , not all that far off the films you see on the Sci Fi channel in terms of overall quality keep it up =)

  • @ollie13239 Cheers, just spend around £500 on sounds equipment.

  • Acting was good.

    Directorial was fine.

    Movie was interesting.

    Great job guys!

  • this reminds me of 28 days later

  • What editing software did you ise for the film and special effects?

  • @iTaCzClan Camera was canon 550d. And i used adobe after effects for the effects.

  • Bravo Enaver, well done, I was surprised how well it was done on a low budget. Keep it up!

  • @bam726 Cheers mate, watch episode 2 if you enjoy this :)

  • @Enaver I did, the ending had me searching for part 3......... soon? maybe? possibly?

  • @bam726 Nice to know you enjoyed them. Episode 3 taking abit longer as im upgrading my equipment and getting proper sound. Might be a while yet sadly.

  • Awesome! You did a great job for a low budget zombie movie. Alot on youtube have zombie short films of them just shooting zombies an thats it. I liked your because it had a story and kept you watching to the very end.

Thanks for posting! You just earned a subscriber.

Cant wait to see what you make in the future!

    -Leytonater Productions

  • that was actually really good. I feel that we could really help each other out a lot.

only bad thing I can really point out, is maybe look into purchasing a boom mic, and a person to hold it. sometimes, the actors voices were hard to hear. Maybe thats just me. Other than that, dude this is great stuff. Keep it up

  • @FilmsDevastation Cheers dudes. Yeah its a problem ive noticed too however its more of a money thing at the moment as i dont have enough for a audio recorder.

  • @Enaver yeah I can understand that. The mic I use is a Rode Videomic that goes for 250 USD. It is actually really good quality for beginner to intermediate users for the price, I used it in all my videos so if your interested in it just check out my vids so you can get an idea of its quality. But yeah I can understand the money thing. We got a large film we are working on now thats costing alot haha.

  • @FilmsDevastation I used that one for this episode, or the pro one. Just i only had it plugged into the camera which doesnt make much of a difference. Need to get a boom pole and a decent audio recorder. Going to look at your videos now.

  • @FilmsDevastation Oh wait, used the mic on ep2 not this one :)

  • @Enaver haha yeah I was about to say that ep2 sounds alot better. But I personally really like the rode. with a boom pole, its outstanding for the price. :)

  • @FilmsDevastation Recently just bought a boom pole and audio recorder from amazon :)

  • @Enaver haha there ya go :) gettin that production value ;)

  • zombie soldiers as opposed to dog soldiers

  • @mandyrobert01100 i like it

  • how did u get the gun sound and fx of the flash

  • This may sound stupid... nut nothing annoys me more than people holding an SA80, real or not, in the left hand. If you want it to be realistic make sure an actor using one has it in his right-hand, even if he's left handed. This is because you don't get left-handed firing SA80's.

    Just so you know :)

  • @cheesesmegg Hes holding it with his right hand. But also you "can" fire a SA80 on your left side you just need to be careful not to catch yourself. Im sure things annoy you more in films than this.

  • @Enaver Well I posted during the first few minutes of the video, as he was holding it in his left hand, if I'm mistaken I apologise. You are right it doesn't annoy me as much as some movies, For instance Dog Soldiers. Although despite that, It isn't a bad piece of amateur filming better than anything I could do. :)

  • @cheesesmegg thanks :)

  • @cheesesmegg that makes no sense

  • Hey man, great short. Don't let the silly ignorant folk get you down. Keep it up!

  • Well done, really good movie. I liked the plot.

  • Very powerful b2 air rifle Arthur has there lol

  • why didnt you just feed the zombie in the closet the whole body? lol

  • Your color correction is phenomenal!!! Great work!

  • Great short film, I suggest you to use some different camera angle techniques next time.

  • Well done

  • were do you get the guns??

  • BACON!!!!

  • Nice pellet gun, besides the kids nice Air Soft guns haha

  • It's good...but I enjoy walkers a lot more then runners. They are so much better.

  • Are the guns real? And keep on going man your doing great =)

  • is very good..

  • The only good actor you killed off. The guy who owned the house kept switching his accent from american to english and your sound effects were sometimes not right (like when the zombie was attacking the man you could hear the zombie, then, when it went to the boy about to shoot him there was no zombie noise) otherwise good i suuppose.

  • @TheForsythek Its a amature film i made on my own with like £50. Cut my some slack lol.

  • @Enaver how much you paid the camera

  • @DARDAMC £600 at the time. alot cheaper now i think

  • @Enaver how much euro is that?

  • @DARDAMC Around 700 i think

  • @Enaver Don't listen to that guy. I think it was very good(:

  • @Enaver See THEFORSYTHEK as giving construcvtive criticisism

  • @Enaver wow man great job 5 stars i loved it

  • What programs did you use for sound effects? i am thinking of making a zombie series...

  • flawless win. fucking brilliant

  • check out my zombie video Rise Of The Dead :D

  • reload????nice movie anywhere...:-)

  • nice movie. what cam did u use? and did u use after effects?

  • it pisses me off no one ever shows reloading

  • @nolandandfriends Because they didnt shot over a clip worth of ammo. People dont just reload for the sake of reloading.

  • @Enaver the guy with brown hair

  • @nolandandfriends Didnt shot over a clip

  • @Enaver he shot in the begining of the video and alot at the end

  • @nolandandfriends Didnt shot at all at the beginning.

  • @Enaver well whatever its still a nice vid

  • I dont know what you did but it was a nice job of building suspence

  • Nice.....

  • Invest in a Flycam Nano and RODE microphone :D

  • Pretty cool! What kind of camera is that?

  • how much did ur camera cost?

  • mighty fine job

  • what did you use for the music?

  • @Enaver

Wow! This was great! I thought the story was very well done and it was very well paced. There are only 2 minor complaints I have...

1.For some reason the audio was very low. But then again I watched this on a laptop so it wont affect my judgement.

2.I really didnt attach myself to the two main characters and sort of blended in with Arthur and his undead wife (which was a pretty damn scary idea if you ask me.)

Overall the blood effects were great the zombies were cool looking. 10/10!

  • nice, what editing softare do you use

  • Good job lads, Better than the American Hollywood propaganda movies. Keep up the hard work. There is alot of money to be made by Movies or Docs about the Great history of Britain.

  • very good.

  • i thought they were gonna have a big orgy in the bedroom.

  • I started off on guitar lessons, and now I ended up here :/

  • Really well scripted, well done!

  • the sound of l85a1 was crappy ... and there is some mistakes with detail ... but very good job ..... really close to perfect :)

  • just out of curiosity how long did this take to upload to youtube?

  • @ionodge Ermm, around 4 hours

  • @Enaver oMG how make the blood affects look real :O!!! and the gunshots :O!!

  • cross bow has unlimted rounds and quiet

  • the rifle of that guy was totally a wimpy .22 soo badd asss

  • @stevensiptrott13 A 22 will kill zombies, and let you carry 4-5 times as much ammo as .223.

    awsome vid!!

  • @fermi911 A .22 bullet has proven to actually bounce off your skull and actually bounce off of thick clothing. It would still hurt but it couldnt kill you, yet alone an already dead zombie. They can take more shots than humans can .

  • @stevensiptrott13 As long as i can take a zombie down with less than 4 shots I save weight.

  • 12:06 did he just shoot freddie wong?

  • Comment removed

  • first of all the cans were pull tabs and it was dog food

  • @lanfear45 Was cat food.

  • @Enaver Cat food. The breakfast of champions.

  • Not bad, but you need to get your mic a wind screen.

  • ....

  • Brilliant!

  • nice colour grading, not sarcastic

  • double eagle M85? lol

  • of course they wouldn't eat, he didn't give 'em a fucking can opener

  • I want a back pack like the one, the second guy had(one with the beanie) where can i get those? my BOB sucks and i need a new bag for it.

  • adding to favorites...........subscribing and done :)

  • Very good! Can't wait for the rest of the series!

  • This is fucking belter, good job lads. What camera did you use ? :)

  • @gobbitop554 Canon 550d my friend!
