You are one of a million who used the word influence, but what you failed to say or deep thought is the religion aspect. Kun Khmer and Kun Thai are identical because of the culture epic of Kru Pram and Mahabharata of Ramayana combined, which are the identity of Khmer invention.
If you remove the Twai Kru then yes you can call it Kun Thai, but as long you still use our culture and our yant written in Khmer, it is Khmer and it belong to Khmer. Use it without our consensus, or give credit to, we call it steal.
