the dsi browser is all the way better then the ndslite browser.

it,s faster,text is bigger,,you get a massage if it,s run out of memory,you also know when a page is loaded completely,the keyboard response is better you clearly know if want to contineu or cancle writted text by hitting go or cancle,you don,t get stack on your account or some sites.

The DSi shop is free and if you get in before October you get 1000 free DSi points, and it is free to download the DSi browser

Posting on forums should be easy, but the DS browser doesn't support Flash, which means no YouTube videos.

They'll try to stop people from using them but clever coders are always going to figure out a way around it. I believe there's already a working flashcard for DSi. The loss of the GBA slot is not a concern for playing GBA games (those can be played off the flashcards). But I just got Guitar Hero On Tour Decades for Xmas, and you need the GBA slot for the guitar attachment (hacked version sux!). So add-ons like these will not be possible anymore. All gripes aside, I'm still curious to see one.

Should be called the Nintendo iFAIL. I was pretty excited about this new DS with built-in cameras, bigger screens and improved speaker volume. But in my opinion, the -'s outweigh the +'s. The browser may load sites faster but there's still no sound or video, so it's not a big improvement over the old one. The upgradable firmware sounds like a pain in the ass like it is for modded wii's, and flashcards don't work. Also, no GBA slot for add-ons. I'm sticking with my old DS Lite + EZ Flash V.

if flashcards are those adapter things then obviously if they find a way theyre gonna stop people using them, and the GBA slot is gone because they have to move on after a few generations, like the DS wouldnt play gameboy colour games even though they technically should have fit in

Probably not worth buying the DSi. Seeing as they now have firmware updates they will start locking out flashcards that are made for it is my guess.

looks like a big improvement over the og DS Opera Browser. i like the new zoom function and it doesn't look as laggy when scrolling. still i already have a DSlite and an iPhone. Safai on the iPhone blows the Opera Browser away. Plus like the Opera the iPhone can't to Flash, but unlike Opera the iPhone can play YouTube videos.

If you already have a DSlite get a iPodTouch / iPhone instead. The camera on the iPhone is better, plus you can find apps that can do even more tricks with the photos.
