  • I remember this. It was a Thursday. My dad was getting married on Saturday and all the family from out of town was in the living room watching this in St. Paul. My aunt and I had just returned from Montgomery. While we were in the shop in Montgomery, we heard all of the warnings firing from the radio. I was really glad we made it back otherwise we would've been caught in some nasty storms. Great video, although the wind sound is a little bothersome, but no biggie.

  • I was trying to get my mom to get a video while i was driving, but she was busy calling my dad crying, " I love you, I'm going to die."

  • what direction did the thunderstorm cloud come from, great video

  • This storm produced EF 4 destruction, but did not get to EF 5 levels. Less than 0.1% of tornadoes ever reach or break that threshold. Historically we have less than one EF 5 per year in the US while we average about 1000 tornadoes. Gives you a little perspective on how rare an EF 5 is. Hell only 5% reach EF 3 status.

  • thats soo scary...it makes me sad for all those people who live in an area were they get tornados so frequently. I'm glad i live somewhere where we don't get them.

  • @xll3abyxDoll21x me too lol..i stayed in alabama for a year, we had a wind storm one night you could barely walk in..i thought one was going to happen after we had to watch news on a battery operated television.

  • I was heading back home last night and we photographed the tornado just north of the bridge 6/25/10 just west of the western most exit to Albert Lea on I 90. Was pretty scarey as we pulled over in Alden then when hit the interstate heading west there was a strong wall cloud with rotation right over our path. The winds almost knocked us off the road. SHould have stayed in Cedar Rapids another night!

  • This is the same tornado I got footage of. Can even see it appearing to break apart. I must have been closer shooting from my yard. Good shot!

  • I was stuck at the Travel America in Albert Lea on I-35 when this happened.

  • Rated an EF4 at times, not a 5 but still a bad ass tornado.

  • good video, didnt that turn into an F5?

  • @renjichic78 I haven't saw the ratings for this tornado yet, but i believe the tornado that turned in to a possible EF-5 would be the tornado that went west of Albert Lea, this was east. My other video of Albert lea was the tornado that grew to 1 mile wide and could be rated very strong!

  • @crstormchaser

No EF-5 on that day. The one west of Alden was an EF-4 while there were some EF-3 in Freeborn County that day

  • @renjichic78 It was an EF4, not EF5.

  • hope none of that shit hit Baxter too bad, cuz my little bros there at a summer camp

  • i was in the middle of that i almost shit my self

  • that damn rear view @ 3:50

  • Luckily Rochester didn't see to much of it... Awesome video!

  • Wow. yikes.
