Comparing these fires with KATRINA is like comparing oranges and apples. It's all about life...mother nature cannot be helped. Yes, the levies were messed up and could not handle it when Katrina came in. Again...it was not the weather that flooded New Orleans it was the levies failing.
Wildfires in CA are very common this time of year. Everyone knows that.
This is as unnessary as KATRINA was, they knew the levies would fail, and Malibu knew a wild fire would catch their houses on fire, both did nothing to prevent what happened.
