The game looks identical on both systems, apart from the PS3 having MLAA and the 360 having none and the PS3 having more post-processing effects. Just get the game for where your friends are playing it, that way you can experience a true masterpiece, and have a laugh at the same time :) For old hardware, the game is stunning.

here is why I prefer xbox. 1. Little to no hackers. 2. A better skilled more "hardcore" community than ps3. 3. VERY little difference in visuals compared to the PC version. REASON BEFORE FAN BOYS START FLIPPING- It's because games like BF are developed to run on all systems, PC exclusives are where the PC shines. Cross platform games are pretty much the same, ONLY difference is DX11 vs DX9 which makes bump-mapping on PC better and of course the lighting.

First of PC will always win they will always have better graphics, Xbox 360 and PS3 plays battlefield 3 @ locked 30 FPS PC can play it @ 60 FPS or Higher, the highest i got was 72 to 81 FPS on Ultra with Triple Moniter @ 6144x1152 Res at True HD (1080p) not 720p like PS3 with HDMI or Xbox360.
