I think what some people are going to miss is that when he speaks about SD Adventist's, he means they are on track because they have the Sabbath day down and they are coming from a "Christian" perspective, as apposed to Jewish and not believing in the Messiah. My life has also changed dramatically as I now keep the Sabbath on Saturday and I was raised Baptist.

@TorontoBoi - The Bible says that after death man sleeps unconsciously Ecclesiastes 9: 5, 6; 12: 7; Psalm 146: 6 - The "soul" in the Bible means "a complete human being", not a spiritual entity within us. See Genesis 2: 7 "And God formed man out of the dust of the ground and breathed in Him the breath of life and man became the living soul." - When we die breath of life goes back to God (it's the energy of life that comes from God) and body disintegrates in the earth until the resurrection.

So, to summarize - if your church doesn't have a clear distinctive prophetic gift in their ranks [and by this I don't mean the phony pretending to speaking in tongues which no one can understand], then it is not God's Church. Because God's church WILL have the gift of prophecy in the last times. So brother, instead of simply rejecting Ellen White why don't you actually read something she wrote. Start with a book "Desire of Ages" and prove all things as Apostle Paul advised us to do. :)

Bible never says that prophetic gift would cease. In contrary, before the second coming God will send a special prophet to prepare his people. Read Malachi 4: 6 "...Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD. And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse."

The Adventist are not obsessed with Ellen White but they regard her gift as authentic gift of prophecy. Of course, prophets need to be tested by the Bible but Paul said in 1 Thessalonians 5: 19-21 "Quench not the Spirit. Despise not prophesying but Prove all things; and hold fast that which is good."

Imagine God who would burn your sister for million, million, billion, trillion years roasting her in fire for some 50, 60 years [or less] of unsurrendered life to God. @trees622 - SDA stands for Seventh day Adventist. If you really are searching for the truth, God will lead you to his remnant church. Seventh-day Adventist Church is the only spiritual Israel today. It is the only church to observe all the ten commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus, which is the gift of prophecy as Bible describes the remnant church in Revelation 12: 17 and 19:10 (the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy). Go to a local SDA church and inquire the truth.

I am saying what Jesus had said: "I have many other sheep in OTHER FOLDS which I want to bring into MY FOLD." and also Revelation 18:4 says - come out of Babylon "my people". There are many who are true faithful people of God in OTHER churches that are not GOD's END-TIME REMNANT CHURCH. There are many sheep that Christ has in "other folds" and they are right now saved while not knowing ful truth.

(I wish we had time to study Rev 10) but SDA believe that everyone shall be saved "according to the light they have". So not everyone is lost because they are not Adventist. No. He who sees the truth and is convinced but still rejects the Holy Spirit, he has rejected the light and is hence probably lost. But even then, we cannot judge hearts only God can.

Well the word "Archangel" in greek comes from the word "Arche" - The Head or Captain or Beggining, the Origin, The originator and "Angelon" - Angel --- Thus, the word "Archangel" means - The Head or Originator of the Angels. Jesus is the Head and the Captain of heavenly host and he is also the "Arche" - the Originator of the angels, because He created them. In Daniel 12: 1, 2 Michael is identified as Jesus.
