I have Goffert's model, that's all I have to remember the beautiful Friesian Stallion by... It's a shame they retired his model in 2008, I don't get why, because poeple should atleast get like, some peace of him to remember him by, even if it's just a breyer model... Curse you colic, but you'd think a horse that high class wouldn't get colic long enough for him to die, I mean really! Oh well, crud happens, and most of the time no one likes the crud that happens.
Shame they let him die and didn't bother taking him to get help. That poor thing... those people didn't give a damn about him, only the money he brought in.
That is NOT true! They took him to the vet, but there was nothing they could do to save him! That's sickening, to think you believe that they didn't care! They all loved him! Ugh!
Actually he colicked all night standing in his stall... THEN took him to the vet in the morning. By that time his gut had already twisted. If they loved him so much why didn't they take him to the vet at the first sign of colic? Trust me, I know what happened, I live down the road from the people.
Okay, so maybe they didn't KNOW. I don't think they stand around his stall hovering all night! It's possible to simply not notice in time, but nooo, we're talking a famous horse with famous owners and everybody famous never cares at all! Is it not possible for people do make mistakes??? My God....
Relax. It's pretty silly to make such a mistake with a, what, hundreds of thousands of dollars-horse? These things don't happen slowly. I could care less if they were famous or not, anyone who lets their horse die of colic should have some explaining to do. It's hard to not notice what is going on. I wish as much as you that Herby lived through it, but... careless mistakes will result in death sometimes.
it is NOT Enya it is Miriam Stockley (&choir) singing for Adiemus (the song is of the same title) composed by Karl Jenkins this has NOTHING to do with enya
i know how it feels i lost one of our horses to it and this past month nearly lost my baby girl to it...we were lucky to get her into surgery in time...her recovery is on my page...i hope to help make a fund in the futuer for people who dont have the money to send their horses into surgery...please help clincs near you by donating money and supplies to give horses the chance to live...thank-You
