I don't think this was inspired by PWL and all the Stock Aitken and Wateman things... This song was released in 1985. In 1985 they were producing tracks like you "Spin me Round" by Dead Or Alive, wich was more High Energy... very Lime orientated. Even in 1986 when they did "Showing Out" for Mel and Kim, it was again very club orientated, and in a way very House Music of Chicago. I think it's the opposite ! I think Italo disco inspired people like Pet Shop Boys, New Order... and SAW

Yeah, I guess Les, as an assistant in PWL, knows the process of SAW's creation....I believe they have listened to tons of other's music and then elaborate themselves...

I like so much the synth and drums soUnd of PWL's productions, in particular when I was a child I fell in love with Rick Astley's "Never gonna give you up" "Together forever" "The love has gone" "Whenever you need somebody"....
