sheelagh is well nice and was my favorite character wish she never left. she has really bad luck when it comes to men Des and her were so sweet till he ran off. sad she lost her kid in it too she lost niamh as well as des and patrick she would of been safer with patrick but unhappy after des and she'd of always felt guilty

Yes, Sheelagh has rotten luck in choosing men. But I disagree that she should have stayed with her husband Patrick. She no longer loved him. Sticking with any man just for the sake of security or familiarity is settling; Sheelagh didn't want to settle. As for Gabriel, he is deceit itself. A well adjusted mind and personality could never conceive of Gabriel's rottenness.
