Jurgen Rosenthal is the man. Deserves the same admiration as peart, bruford, etc. How about him on fly to the rainbow??

I've been listening to Eloy for 10 years. As far as I know they've only played the US once, back when they released Ocean II, and it was for a prog festival I think? Dawn to Planets is my favorite era of theirs. Amazing band!!

Well... I certainly Enjoy Prog Bands in the Vain of Moog`s Atmos Sounds and Mellotron-Hammond Basis Prog..(classic) But Eloy`s Arrangements always Turned around Em And Bm, and that´s why it`s sounds so dark and heavy yet repetitive at times...you hear one song and you quite get the feeling of the whole Album, as it was specially in Floating, Power and the Passion, Dawn, Ocean Etc..still Great Band and Great Effort on Manfred Wieczorke`s account

What a classic!!!! I love these guys, the German accent is great. Jurgen Rosenthal is one of my favorite drummers, I love his work on a Scorpions song called "Speedy's Coming" he's brilliant!!!! Love it!!!!

Good times...I´m sad because we dont have bands like Eloy in this days...I have listened a great keybordist called Erik Norlander...He is great...His music is like progressive on the 70-80.

Besides Jane,Triumvirat and Tangerine Dream surely the best German progressive band. Actually it is hard to say which of these bands are best. But Eloy made more interesting albums than any of the others! Allthough I like Force majuere,Tangram & Tyger by TD more! Allays, lets say Eloy is the quantitative best German band! ;-)

ELOY is the hidden music treasure, which slowley gains more respect amongst muscians as well as regular audiences all over the world.

Their style was unique and very progressive.

Musically the band was incredibly tight and each note was just perfect, especially the ocean album.

My favorite albums are inside, ocean and COLOUR.

Eloy was one the best progressive band of 70's,but unfurtunetly they always have been over shadowed by british and american bands.

I love every note that they've played throughout 70's.

They were like god in 70's back home in iran.
