Tithes were income tax, in the OT. They were never spiritual giving, which was and remains voluntary. The Temple was both the civil treasury because it was a fortress, as well as the seat of worship.
So many panderers who want your money, ignore that distinction and quote the 'bring the tithes into the storehouse' in order to prey upon your ignorance of what the Temple was. Just ignore them.
As for Bible verses, first use 1John1:9 and read them again yourself, asking God; see what happens.
If after asking God, jaynewt12, you still have questions, then PM me here in youtube or at my website mail. I take it you know the latter, since you asked 'where' to send it.
Thanks alot for your bibical insight. i'm just starting to understand certain things and I have a lot of Q's, but i'm not going to flood you with them, but if you find some time, i do have a couple impotant Q's, so, I will PM you soon.
Thoughts are indeed powerful. Which is why Scripture calls us to take every thought captive in order to test it. Scary indeed. It's hard enough being held accountable for my physical actions and words.
hey, i was just wondering about tithes. can you give me your opinion or some bible verses? and do it matter where i send it?
