The touchscreen is way too sensitive. I swear you can almost stare at it too hard and screens will go crazy opening and closing. If you want touchscreen stick with a tablet.

Downsides:

1. Overheating problem during graphically intense games

2. Overheating leads to shuts down

3. Boot section is very VERY prone to corruption from viruses and installation of incompatible programs.

4. DVD drive does not eject properly (this lead to a dozen other problems).

I regretted buying this computer.

1. i have had no problems playing Dawn of war on this for many hours without overheating

3. just installing virus protection AVG/Malwarebytes/spybot/ or if you cba download linux on your desktop on virtual box or dual boot, do all your browsing there so you dont have to worry about viruses etc.

its really good and the paint is awesome you have loads of brushes and you can touch to draw my dad got it 6 months ago then it fell then it legs to make it stand as you can see above broke!!!! but thank got my dad repaired it

@1mercedes9aka9cars4 Well, first, you need to know the specs of your current computer, then compare the specs on this one. If the specs look the same or better as your older computer, it will play. You don't need to be a geek to work out which one would be better. Nor do you need to ask for help, as I am sure you are capable enough.

I got this :D. first time i bought HP touchsmart PC but i broke the next day. it had problems with the boot apparently. well it was the last one in stock so its not a big surprise, so i took it back and got acer aspire AZ5610 instead and i liked it. lol and i likethe fact that i can watch tv on it :P

I just purchased an Acer AZ5700 , it has intell i5 processor, is 23 in. hoping you do a program on this one, can 't find demo anywhere , it wil be here tomorrow ,and sure would like your tips and if it is the much improved Acer touch from previous generation. If Acer did really good job on these , the seriously can pass out Dell and HP, who , now they are on top have been skimping I think. Give people quality to last them awhile and beleive me they will come back for others , for family etc.

i have this computer exactly and the acer touchportal folded back corner will not appear no matter how much i turn it on both on the screan shortcut and the quick button situated on the touch pad just bellow the screan. please help i can no longer get up the touch portal! any comments welcome as long as they are experianced with this computer. no guesses please this comp isnt cheap

Recently I bought an Acer Aspire Z5610 (E6600), after use for a day, the PC hangs and prompts at Acer eRecovery Management having a problem:

NAPP_KM:NAPP7.exe-Application Error

The exception unknown software exception (0xc000000d) occurred in the application at location Ox10054162

I contacted the retailer and they replaced a new one for me. The problem still arised. Contacted Acer and couldn't diagnose problem. Replaced a new one (upgrade version Q8400). problem still arised. what's wrong?

Almost certainly, I just thought it was a question about using Photoshop with a touch screen. I'd assume there are USB ports to plug a mouse into if you want to do something that doesn't work well with touch. For Photoshop a graphics tablet may be a good investment as it gives you a natural pen-like control over the cursor.

@dukeyyy Wireless devices often have a 'synch' or 'connect' button on them. If you can't find it look under the battery cover. There should also be a similar button on the PC. Press both. Worth a try.

i have this computer and it is very fast and the touch screen is very acurate i dont like the fact that the lights on the keyboard doesnt light up a;though it is an excelent computer and i love the look of the windows 7 home premium

I bought this used from a fellow who said the screenwasn't big enough, but the case got misaligned in shipping... the disk drive can't spit out a disk, and it's too darn new to find any info on how to get the case open! Who new I would regret buying a brand new TOTL computer? heh... I love it though, the screen is huge, it runs super fast, and it's just all around great so far.

The biggest complaint I have is that the keyboard doesn't have the LEDs that tell you when the caps is on... I wonder why? I watched that dutch vid on it, and their wired one had the lights...

@TheFunkyFilms I know you'd prefer an answer from someone who has actually tried it, but I would suggest that it won't be very good for Photosop as the finger isn't the most accurate pointing device...It's hard to get an accurate point from a finger-tip. If you've tried the iPod touch or iPhone you'll see what I mean.

i love this pc, we just got it. it has a fast and responsive touch screen. however their is a learning curve, on how to use some of its cool touch operating systems. however the applications it provides, are easy to use, and access, to show when friends come over. really great.

i would want to buy this pc and game on it, since it has a big screen, lots of HDD space, a good graphics card and quad core CPU, but don't the applications slow the pc down? and can you disable them so that the pc doesnt load them, but just works like any other pc? cos i wouldnt use the touchscreen anyway, im just affraid that these applications will bring down the pc's performaces

I played Call of Duty MW2 on it, and set the graphics to high, and expierenced no lag gameplay. i have installed that and sims 3 on it, and have about 20 gb of music. and the computer still performs well. The start up is amazing also. I havent tried getting rid of the applications, cause i dont need too, but im sure their is a way. Those little apps, are by windows 7, for show, mostly. with a 8gb quad core, and great graphics card, you really dont need too.
