懐かしい！この番組見てました、確か夕食を食べ終わった位の時間­じゃなかったかなあ。こんな映像が残っていたとは驚きです。当時­は、小さな子供だったからよく分らなかったけれど、今聞くと、レ­ベルの高い演奏ですね。Zombiesの'I love you'のカバーをザ・カーナビーツが｢好きさ、好きさ・・・お­前の全てー」と歌ってたのをはっきり覚えてます。CMでビートル­ズのレット・イット・ビーをバックにLPレコードの（LPレコー­ドというメディアそのものの）宣伝をしていたのも、この頃だった­ような。'Let it be'が「エルピー」に聞こえたんですね。

They were a great band. They got their name from a club in Yokohama (Golden Cups), which was located in Honmoku on Densha-Michi. We called it that cause the trolley used to operate on this street. I lived 2 blocks away at Honmoku 1-Chome. I believe Mabo lived a block away from me then.

That's a tough one to reply. Depending on our nationality and age, I guess we all did something different. I, for one, used to hang around Seaside, bowling alley/game center by marine Tower, and play pinball machines. At any rate, I saw Golden Cups perform live in 1969 at Golden Center Shopping Center, which was located right off Yokohama station.

...Cream didn't write this, not sure who did, but i have it on distortions by the litter which is from '67, so it must have been a bit of a garageband staple.

I had to google this band to make sure it wasn't a fake though! This footage is almost too good to be true! AMAZING! So this was recorded with a camera pointing at the TV, how come the sound is so amazing?

It's funny that you bring up the TV show "720." I used to watch it before going to school. Saw "The Animals" live there once performing "Sky Pilot." I thought, "WOW." I also liked to watch "Beat Pops" and "Ya-Ya-Young."

More evidence by this point, 1968, those poor Go-Go dancers had no clue what to do with this music. This spells the end of Go-Go dancers careers, at least until the early 1980's.
