So I understand I need to go up the elevator up into the Tower of Mzark, however I am having an issue... The elevator to the entrance isn't in there. The tower is there and the quest arrow is pointing right in the circle area where the lift should sit but it is not there. Is there a lever or something that I can use to call the elevator back down? Do I have to complete another quest before I can use the elevator? I am very much confused... Any help would be awesome. Thanks.

@Sonicknux7 Have you completed the quest "Discerning the Transmundane"? There are a couple items that you receive from Septimus Signus in that quest that you need in the tower.
