The Knox and Kane is not still running. These 3 videos were shot in Sept. 2006. There is no more Knox and Kane. The line has been sold (not removed...yet), and EVERYTHING else was sold at the auction back in October of 2008. Circle route???
Nope. When they were running the full excursions, they departed Marienville which is where these videos are from. Then stopped in Kane to pick up passengers and continues on to the Viaduct. Once over the viaduct, they turned on the wye, and returned. Stopping in Kane and then continuing onto Marienville. Once back, they turned again on the Marienville wye (base and start of one leg of it in this video) and prepared for the next trip.
That would be the Buffalo and Pittsburgh's A&E Sub. Runs from Erie to St. Marys. Used to go the whole way to the Buffalo Line at Emporium, removed around 2004 or so I think. Former Pennsy line, still sees a train 6-7 evenings a week.
How is the Knox & Cane Still Running!?!?!? the Kinzua Bridge was the connection to doing the circle route. I never knew they were still running!

when they picked people up at Kane. I remember there being a Red Bridge and a Single well used track below it. What RR owns this rail?
