Ed always has a bottle of wine on stage. Sometimes he gets hammered sometimes not, but he ALWAYS gives 100%. I saw him trip over a speaker and fall in ATL one time he was so hammered....a few songs later he sang the best version of Crazy Mary I have ever heard. He is f ing awesome. Drunk or sober. I agree with others who have said..."In case some of you missed it, the whole band kicks ass"...it's not just Ed. The BAND is simply outstanding. Ed puts them into the "best ever" catagory!!!
Matt Cameron I think saved this show. If he wasn't so fucking rock solid the whole chaos of eddie being drunk as shit and just the general chaos pearl jam brings would have imploded. Cameron is a fucking beast. Eddie would make these shit ass speeches during the show and Cameron would just fuckin groove perfectly for like 5 minutes straight and disguise the train wreck. Jesus what a show. Almost killed me

@mamakin1973 Yeah he was the shit until about the 3rd or 4th song and it all just hit him and he became nervous as fuck and slurring his words and everything. I was about 50 feet from the stage and it was freaking me out seeing him fuck up like that that I had to get the hell out of there.
