I watch this video every Mother's Day and sometimes on mom's birthday too. I miss and love her so much and this video always brings tears of joy and tears of pain . I am so glad you two found each other, because I have never seen mom so happy as she did the day she was reunited with you again.
My mother passed away three months to the day that I found her. It was sudden and unexpected. she was 69 years old. We never know how long we have on this Earth - how long we have for these reunions. I hope that others may consider this and will make real effort to find each other.
I sit watching your beautiful video with tears in my eyes.... I am adopted also, and after a 16 year search found my birth mother and siblings last month! We haven't met in person yet, but hope to soon. May God bless you for sharing these beautiful pictures!
iso Steven. He was adopted from little city in Palatine Illinois by a nurse working at little city .He was said to have childhood schizophrenia. If anyone has any info contact this screen name
this was a beautiful video glory, im so glad you got to meet her before her passing, as a search angel volunteer i have many cases where birth parents have passed and its so hard to tell this news to adoptees, you where one of the lucky ones, god bless you
I wish you the best of luck in finding her. It's a leap of faith, but for me it was a giant step toward becoming whole, at last. and, she was wonderful and loving-- a treasure to me.
I found her on Valentine's Day of 1997; she died suddenly on the eve of Mother's Day 1997. As painful as that was-it was a huge loss-the three months we had were hugely rewarding, full; and looking back on it now, I can see that this was our gift to complete our relationship and re-establish our bond.
I am a reunited adoptee and want to share with my condolensces - My adoptive parents died this year and my uncle also died - he was birth mom's brother - I knew him for 10 years and had mixed emotions after his death - thankful for the time I shared with him but sometimes sad that I don't have more.
So glad you found your mama Anne. She waited for you. God Bless
