As for #2, I was going off the count given the the reporter that covered it. It did look pretty sparse. I was unable to personally observe, as I did not leave campus with the exception of going to get Mr. Seavey.

It was standing room on the bus not to mention those that arrived on their own. We had covered all four corners of the intersection and not just the area cordoned off for us. We drove 13 hours from Missouri to support our troops, why didn't the IVAW have the desire?

As for Mr. Arredondo, I agree that he has the right to express himself and am sorry for his loss but I can't help but wonder if his son would have felt honored by this display as it offended some others. Thanks for your reply.

We didn't have the desire to march because we were attending and participating in the Winter Soldier hearings. Many of us also drove many, many miles to attend those. Again, I did not personally see the intersection, I have only seen video of it, at which attendance appears fairly sparse-and certainly nothing like in this video.

For Mr. Arredondo..no one can say what the dead could say, if they could only speak. Two marines who served with his son were not offended, though.

I actually can't legally share details of what precisely I did in regards to Iraq-not because I'm afraid of prosecution, but because I'm a military intelligence sergeant, and most of what I have done for the Army outside of general NCO duties has been classified.

However, what has influenced my beliefs is not what I have seen done to Iraq/Iraqis, but what I have seen happen to our own military. I believe in a strong military, and I think the Iraq War is weakening our military.

Thanks to everyone who organized this event! I loved being part of it. I especially enjoyed the looks of relief on the the faces of many of those along the parade route when they saw someone marching FOR America. They cheered, clapped, and gave thumbs up. I find it odd I never heard any of the allegations he makes considering I was his Brigade CSM and lived within 200 feet of him, ate and slept in the same building. My Brigagde Commander (0-6) and I sent more than a few Guardsmen to Jail from there for wrong doing. To include relieving a Battalion Commander for not following up on allegations. That is how serious we in the 3rd Infantry Division took violations of the ROE and Cowboy tactics.

His unit was attached to mine for 10 months of his 12 in country. I drank coffee with his Chain of Command and Many unit members......nothing ever even hinted. They were great soldiers. And the best part is....he states these things took place while on Convoys. Funny thing is we put F/278th on Checkpoints in the Green Zone. He NEVER conducted patrols outside of it or Convoyed anywhere.
