Cool! I was in Brussells when Belgium won some big game during the World Cup. It was the biggest party in the streets I had ever seen. It's cool you got to expierience this. What did I learn that night? That toilet translates into any language as people will point you in the direction regardless if they speak French, German, or Dutch. :D

I live in Calgary, AB, Canada. Everyone here is into hockey, and the last time our team(The Flames) got close to winning, some bars showing the games did sell for cheaper. And Flames related merchandise was sold for super cheap everywhere. Lost at the finals to Tampa Bay(Florida, USA) in the end though. I'm not really a sports person so I didn't really care.
