When you speak of mystifications, I think of strange people in the West worshipping a fish and deifying them by putting their images on jewelry, statues, and paintings. I am in Finland and there is whaling up in the Scandinavian countries of the Danish Faroe Isles and Norway (next door). Fish is a large part of our diet. So the Japanese are not nearly as egocentric as you think.

I also know about the USA blackmailing Japan on fishing rights so please go on about bribes.

You must be new to this topic or you would know Watson's SS was in Scandinavian waters and hasn't returned since 1997. He almost pissed himself in fear and endangered his crew to avoid arrest by the Norwegian Coast Guard. But he was later caught and spent 80 days in jail. Now he leaves the North completely alone.

I don't worship dolphins nor am I some control freak. It's up to the Danes in the Faroe Islands to decide what they eat.

They impress you so much. Everybody has the right to be free and to do what they want to do. But, those who don't agree with some excessive actions also has the right to express it. Paul Watson funded Sea Sheppherd as a reaction, and you should recognize is courage in his action, alone against obstinate Sea Wildlife killers, that seem to primary to be willing to seek harmony with Nature.

You condemn violence against whaling but violence against animals also exists.
