Well, it is a tough one when talking about paradoxs and going back in time. One could argue that say "you" went back in time and met you (younger you) now let's say in the future you were hurt and were scared (say on your face). You went back in time and your younger self noticed this scar.

In fear of repeating what happened you (younger self) goes on to change his life pattern and then there is your paradox.

You never got the hurt so how could you go back with the scar?
