  • Video isn't that good though. However, I was going to sell my Xeno due to barely any ping boost from regular usage, but I stuck in the 6.0 driver update to give it a try. Ping in Black Ops went from a 48 to a 35, I guess that's pretty decent.

  • @ablahblah54 that sounds like it decreased it and made it worse

  • You're all idiots, take a look at the standard NIC, you should see both characters running to gether like the right side, but you dont cuss the standard NIC Is slow.

Even when the right character ran infront of him, it still didnt pop up on screen, It wasent tell at the end were he stoped, and then it loaded both characters.

  • I'm Playing the free version of EQ2, using an older Killer M1. Last night I was running around New Halas area and experienced this with my bro using the same internet connection. On my system I would be running right next to him. On his system I wouldn't even be on the screen. For me its not so much about frame rate but quicker response time. When my first card died they replaced it. Top notch service imho. All you haters sound ignorant to someone that's experienced the improvements first hand

  • video is garbage.

  • LAME, LAME.

They both were running at the same freaking speed.

Product failure and epic PR failure.

Bigfoot should hangs themselves for pushing out overpriced POS.

FYI, your ISP and game server's geographical location matter so much more for latency than your NIC.

  • Is this wireless?

  • This is real Technology, ask any person who's gone through programming to a database via MS jet ADO,, and any other customized.dll .. ;)

  • bullcrap

  • Where can I get a t-shirt liek that? :D

  • To test this, I also tried it on DAoC, where I have 3 accounts. Only one PC has the Killer NIC. When I use the 'stick' function on the other 2 PC's, those characters lose the 'stick' because the character they are following 'stop image' pops out into the distance. For anyone interested in actually testing the NIC instead of whining about the demonstration being "rigged", let me know your results.

  • @Utubetardation Awesome. Might have to give this a whirl on DAoC and DDO. :-)

  • Also having good results with Star Trek Online now.

  • I have been using this NIC for several years and, while there were several driver issues in the beginning, I will never play MMO's without it again. While playing DDO and using the in game voice chat, I can duplicate the video with any number of players. I always see everyone running next to me, everyone in a group, while many of the others see only a few avatars until everyone stops or hits a zone edge where everything "slingshot" updates avatar positions. More in next post...

  • this is kinda pathetic.. if you notice, the character on the right literally makes a stop like 4 times, then runs. also, the character on the other screen takes wider turns, while the other takes quicker cuts. this is just garbage lol.

  • @vgfreak0123 Honestly, that probably makes the point stronger. The character that was taking wider turns seemed to be further ahead, but in reality should be further behind if they're taking wide turns - which is why the other character was pausing, trying to keep us together. I (who was controlling the non-Xeno character) was taking wider turns because I thought I had this huge head start somehow and was trying to let the Xeno player catch up. Little did I know, we were /actually/ side by side.

  • the in game ping tools are rigged by the game developers to ensure users are lowest common denominator; fraps is a good independant tool. i'm not aware of an independant ping tool.

  • I dont need to see wow that's for sure. But i would display a huge difference if i where to show my product. The thing is, if i am going to buy a network card. I am going to buy one made for online gaming rather then buying another type of card. Just before im buying it, im gonna google reviews about it. then if i wont get 5 bad reviews at once ill prolly buy it.

  • that looked fake....i do play side by side and it in no way looks that bad. You say its the connection not the game....do some more and prove it. Show us latency in wow and runes of magic

  • We are certainly working on getting more results in a wider array of games - but what makes WoW and RoM worthy tests, but EQ2 not? And there was nothing fake a bout it - keep a careful watch near the beginning where the two characters begin running. You can see that they both start at the same time, and you can see the difference on when the other character appears to start moving. There is a noticeable delay on the standard NIC.

  • both of the games i mentioned have built in ping and fps tools, that way you can prove there is a diffrence in results other then visual, you also didnt give us the system spec that you tested it on.

  • @BigfootNetworks i have bought a killer nic and my pings have improved just nothing like the video you used to demonstrate it. i was expecting no more then 5ms improvment now i have done my bechmarks im getting +20ms to 50ms less on some games, im happy i got it now but i still do think this video is very misleading. cant wait for fna apps voice acceleration
