Toy Spot - DC Superheroes Superman Figure

I held this figure right next to a DC Universe Classics Superman; comparing head sculpt, paint, color, and body. I chose this figure. The cape was nicer. This head is more comic; the other head more cartoon. He wasn't as shiny as the other, but looks better this way. A little less toy-like. Better S on his chest. More realistic skin tone. Might rubberband his legs to prevent the splits, as you said. Thanks for the heads up on that. I'm not even a huge Superman fan, but had to get this figure.

i ended up with the superman vs parasite superman , hes not bad and really nice but the head retarded - im doing a head swap with new krypton superman that will make it look awsome

have you tried tie thread or small invisible rubberband around the legs to prevent them from sliding to do spilt in the future?

I have the Superman with long hair and it's a cool figure. I believe some Marvel Legends figures have their legs articulated also to go to the sides.

the legs spreading aprt issue is just the nature of plastic..

90% of my self standing DC directs all seem to do the same thing. Its not a ball joint issue.

It jsut plastic decomposing with time. Seriously.

in a few years you will see discoloration too.

happend to the Megos and Kenner line too.

i actually prefer that type of joint in the legs as opposed to what the legends line does...i usually just put a small pieced of double-sided tape on their feet to keep them in place...

I'm glad you did continued reviewing DCSuperHeroes. I agree this is one of the best Superman figures too bad they weren't 7inch cause I just hope they were to be more up scale.

I can't wait for the SuperGirl review =) I can get the one with the black skirt.

Do you know of the earlier (I think) Superman theres another figure with different face sculpt so yeah..

The Metallic Superman is called Kal-El =) plus the updated figure will come in 2 pack including the classic Brainiac but I would rather this one cause that superman will have HeatVisionEyes and the cape is just a straight plastic and the Body mold is more massive

Actually I was responding to remix720 who asked if there was a superman that got released that had a different face sculpt to this one, I commented to him but Youtube sometimes groups comments together and it can be a tad confusing

Oh Okay...but I kinda like that Superman being huge though.....This Superman would've been more Superb if the other DCUCs didn't have the same Face Sculpt like Aquaman and so..
