@altonragan That is a good question. The answer is that there have been false teachers since the Apostles's time. The fact is that there is no "rapture", at least not the way people think of it. It is the first resurrection that occurs at the return of Christ that people call the rapture. Those who have died in Christ will rise and be transformed along with those who are still alive in Christ at His return. They will meet Christ in the air and descend with Him to Jerusalem, to rule with Him.

The being that spoke to Ezekiel was God, not demon forces, read on into chapter two. God is the one in the bible who flies. Elisha saw the hillside filled with chariots. (flying vehicles.) There is no proof that the devil and his demons fly around. Jesus said "behold I saw Satan as lightening FALLING from heaven. Revelation accounts him being cast down to the earth, if that has happened. But Ezekiel saw someone flying in an aircraft, someone exited that craft and spoke to him.
