how do i connect to xbox live with a modem? and when i first sign on to live is it going to be a silver member? and i have NXE. when i got NXE i made an xbox profile does that profile stay with me on xbox live?can i use that same avatar?

to connect to xbox live with modem just disconnect ethernet cable that connects to computer and then connect ethernet cable hooked up to xbox 360.

You have to sign up to be a silver member(filling in info) but it is free. As for the modem get an ethernet cable, hook up to the modem, and pretty much thats it. I recomend getting a splitter so that you can hook up a computer and xbox at te same time

I don't like the avatars at all, first of all they are a copy of the miis and second of all they ALL look like normal people, there isn't going to be an avatar of a guy with a long beard, really long hair and tatoos all around.

But still everything else is pretty cool, I got to use it on Gamestop the other day and I might buy a 360 again just to play some Japanese RPG's and other few exclusives the system has (everything else in on PC Like Call of Duty 4 and World at War which are much better)

Yes, its a private chat with 8 people, but you can also join into games together, look at share pictures, ect. You could watch movies but they took that out and will add it later.

This update looks pretty cool, thing is that I don't aprove of the download games to hardrive. It's just asking for pirating. What stops you from giving your disk to your friend then he gives it to his friend. That's right, nothing. Anyone have a link to the details of the harddrive download system?
