  • these where real rally cars...far better than the ones today. motor sports seem better than than it is now.

  • better ? yeah mayby the cars where more exiting with the power and free will for enginers but difference on finish ... about 20 -30 minutes ... that is exiting ??? I DONT THINK SO ... go and read some history first , if you dont know about what are you talking about

  • does anyone know who did the lombard rally soundtrack?

  • I think the music is 'Axel's Theme' by Jan Hammer from the Beverly Hills Cop movie.

    :o)

P.S. To the uploader, great vid!.

  • The music is from Beverly Hills Cop...didn't even notice that. lol

  • it was propaganda jewlled..theres a post on here of it.

  • I sometimes wonder if Jean Marie Balestre used the events of 1986 as an excuse to get rid of the threat that rallying had become to F1. The manufacturers had already started building Group S cars which would have been safer for the crews, all the organisers had to do was sort the spectator situation out.

  • the cars were not the problem, they were driven by the best drivers in the world.they know their limits.....crowd control was good on certain events and non existent on others.but because of that, everyone had to suffer, and we lost the ultimate cars rallying had ever seen, and even now 22 years later, the series is a shadow of it's former self.fatal accidents still happen now,it's part of the sport.

  • Must have been awesome to see Toivenen in an S4, that and Vatanen in a 205 are the 2 sights I wish I could have experienced.

  • wow more new stuff, cool. dont know i liked the 1985 season of rac better through
