Uriah Heep Look at Yourself was the first album I ever purchased. Thanks for posting it cuz it is bringing back great memories. Mick Box was my fave guitar player back in the day.
I remember it was either on the 8 track or cassette (Look at Yourself) this song was the last track and it cut out 1/2 way through and I think you had to flip the cassette to play the rest of the song. Weird ...loved the album however............. Great song!
Always love the slide solo from 3:38 with the rhythm guitar counterpoint on the opposite channel. This song is a sorely overlooked example of rock at its best.
@camelandu2 I agree, Thain kicked friggin ass. On Echoes of the Dark, he does just such great fill in lines. You know you love his bass playing when you can pick out certain parts of a song and your just waiting for the bass notes. Jethro Tull Aqualung has great bass playing on it as well.
I had an 8-Track of this long before I got the vinyl issue. Still have the 8-Track.

@bitcodex No. Google Gary Thain for all the info. He was the man.

You're welcome Michael. These guys don't seem to get much recognition these days. They had a lot of great songs. I'll be posting some more soon!
