  • I had an 8-Track of this long before I got the vinyl issue. Still have the 8-Track.

  • 3:38-3:57 -Whaaaaaat?!! AMAZING. Used to listen to this song over and over and over.

  • It's my favorite song of them!

  • different guitars is so nice.

  • @jax1moi8 who is playing the slide solo, Ken or Mick?

  • Ken.

  • Uriah Heep Look at Yourself was the first album I ever purchased. Thanks for posting it cuz it is bringing back great memories. Mick Box was my fave guitar player back in the day.

  • You're welcome.

  • Wonderful game guitar with the chorus

  • true heep sound very fun to listen to

  • Awesome! I love it. Uriah Heep is one of the best forever.

  • Ahhhhh, there's that feeling I was looking for... Merci!

  • the great solo variation and backing vocals

  • Hadn't heard this in awhile...I was missing out! Glad I felt like some Heep tonight! Awesome song and one of my favorite albums!

  • I remember it was either on the 8 track or cassette (Look at Yourself) this song was the last track and it cut out 1/2 way through and I think you had to flip the cassette to play the rest of the song. Weird ...loved the album however............. Great song!

  • This is the Shit!

  • Always love the slide solo from 3:38 with the rhythm guitar counterpoint on the opposite channel. This song is a sorely overlooked example of rock at its best.

  • Awesome song, too bad Gary Thain wasn't on bass here... He is my favourite bassist!

  • Don't you just love Ken Hensley though!

  • Ken is of course great! Can't believe I left that out in my comment...

  • @camelandu2 was he dead already?

  • @bitcodex No. Google Gary Thain for all the info. He was the man.

  • @camelandu2 I agree, Thain kicked friggin ass. On Echoes of the Dark, he does just such great fill in lines. You know you love his bass playing when you can pick out certain parts of a song and your just waiting for the bass notes. Jethro Tull Aqualung has great bass playing on it as well.

  • Awesome Tune That is my # 1 song of all time

  • Rickyon, Kansas and Uriah Heep's fan like me. Viva hard rock progressive!!!

  • You definitely know your music over there in France! I just posted "Traveller In Time" by the Heep.

  • I saw them live in 1972, but they didn't play this great song! *****

  • thanks ricky, love this song

  • You're welcome Michael. These guys don't seem to get much recognition these days. They had a lot of great songs. I'll be posting some more soon!
