Yes.. That's exactly what I'm doing here, but in a player vs. player zone. Roaming around and meeting other players.. and attacking them :D

There's better PvP play in Recluse's Victory -- there you don't have to worry about noobs or having your powers exemplared down to a ridiculous level.

Besides, it's the same old story... Villians have the PvP advantage (Siren's Call is ridiculously favored toward them) and Heroes have better PvE content.

these complaints dont sound like complaints of PvPers, they sound like complaints coming from PKers.

"oh no i cant kill other players with same attacks anymore" just adapt to it. if its pvp you are really after, theres the arena. yeah its heroes and villains but its still a game that everyone pays for and getting killed over and over isn't that fun.

PKing can be fun, but its a million times more fun when you victim actually has a chance to fight back or get away.

Point! They broke PvP in i13. Still, there are some adjustments that I like but for example, when I was lvling my plant/thorns dominator I captured alot of pillboxes and got attacked many times by heroes. I got killed almost EVERY time because my holds were totally unpredictable. P.S. that MM at 2:15 was doomed ;)

They nerfed everything. Literally. they completely changed how most ATs even PLAY in a PvP zone. I don't have enough room here to really explain everything, and why myself and every other PvPer I know hate it so much.

Well /Ice isn't much like /cold, but it has some things in common. It's got a lot of slowing power. You can really get someone stopped dead in their tracks if you stack it up.

In the New PvP (lolz) it's actually even stronger, as Slow is one of the few debuffs that's still worth a damn. Not that I give a shit about the New PvP lol.

i have a 25 ice/em and a 50 fire/em both of what i love the ice/em i like for the holds it would be great for 1v1 pvp but when it comes to a zone i think fire/ems dominate!!!

I usually am used to kiting a blaster working, but I have no sets and I do ALOT better in the arena XD Not because of the size, but because of a power I don't have in Warburg. I know Kiting may/may not work all the time, but it usually does o.o

I agree, their only advantage was numbers. See the 2 BS and the MA were running around WB ganking the hell out of me. I showed one of those there. So what I did was Blastalkered them ( :p ) and picked them off one at a time, waited for them to get separated and then killed em hehehe.

Also, their kiting would have made very little difference given their builds, and how I play. Kite me, and I hold you anyways. If I can't hold you, or if you're smart enough to hit breakfrees, I stack a crapload of slows. I don't really lost to scrappers, the only one who has seriously handed me my ass was a broadsword/regen that had a buttload of purple damage procs going off on me. Even with slows, she would buildup, TP Foe and headsplitter crit me with a fire damage proc. Was just too much.

Speed (Hasten), Leaping (CJ, SJ, Acro), Fitness (Swift, Hurdle, Stamina), and Medicine (Aid Other, Aid Self).

I made a Ice/Ice and I asked a friend to get his brute and tank, and i cant seem to Hold him like u r in the vid...any advice? atm when i tried to hold him i only had 2 holds, i dont have the melee hold yet. plz give me advice.

That might be your issue. It's a lot, lot easier to do with 3, but you can do it with 2. You need to make sure the recharge and hold duration is maxed as possible. With high hold duration and high recharge, you should be able to poor out enough of it. Vanguard Medal accolade can help against tough targets too. Freeze Ray, bitter Freeze Ray, Freeze Ray am then whichever is recharged soon after that.

Oh forgot to note, you will be very, very unlikely to hold through tanker/brute god modes, they substantially boost their mezz protection. In those cases, you drop slows on them :p

My end goes down yes, but I usually don't have a problem killing people before it runs out. I carry 2-4 blues just in case. No need to get caught with the pants down.

It should be noted that I have all 3 holds really.

Sets are no good for holds. Without Hamis, 3 hold 2 acc 1 rech or 1 Devastation chance for hold.

With Hami's, 3 mezz/acc 2 recharge 1 devastation chance for hold. Freezing Touch won't take one so I put an end reduction in it and called it a day.

Ghost Widow Embrace : Acc/Hold/Rech

Essence of Curare : Acc /Hold/Rech

Neuronic Shutdown : ACcc/Hold/Rech

Then,

Ghost Widow Embrace : Chance for Psi dam.

Neuronic Shutdown : Chance for Psi dam.

Then your Devistation chance for hold ; ) This gives you good mix of Accuracy, recharge, hold duration,aand damage ; )
