i'm guessing you're reading straight from the sheet music? I can tell because you're playing so literally. Jazz is supposed to be expressive, interpret more.

Hey! I really love the way you play this beautiful song which happens to be one of my favourites ever... I'd love to have the score of this version, do you know where i could get one with these arrangements? They are beautiful
Nice rendition. Remember it's Hoagy Carmichael's so he gets the credit. Interestingly, I was spellbound watching Nora play it on a movie set for a couple of nights in a row, a year before she became famous. She was really, really melodious with both the piano and the singing.
This song is about subtelty and although you rarely played a wrong note the song sounds muddled & ther4 looses its real beauty. Dont quit though, playing this song perfectly is well worth the practice!!
enjoyable. In the recording, especially towards the end you should strike the cord, then softly roll the next so as to release the tension so to speak. Personally I think the song sounds better if you dont play every note in the right hand (its just the exact same vocal melody afterall) but if you must try singing while you play. This should make integrating the right hand a lot smoother.
The major problem is that most of the song sounds as though it is played at the same volume. You should listen to the recording to know what to diminish and what to bring out. This makes the song so much more
Waaaa....Well It could've just been your recorder, but this song was meant to play a little softer...it'd sound a lot better if it wasn't played so loudly.
Nah, make whatever you want. When you play it, you make IT your own. Though yeah, it's always good to explore completely different paths, not that you don't. I gained a lot of respect for Korn when they covered Metallica's "One." I still don't listen to them, but that's beside the point.
You play with alot of emotion. I thought some of the bass notes were a little heavy handed (around middle), but other than that, really beautiful job!
Beautiful. Lighten up. A higher octave would make it softer and lighter...

It's clear that you love and enjoy this song; your playing made it enjoyable for me too. I'd like to hear it in a higher octave. It's a tender song.
