Does it matter what color inkpad you use with heat embossing? I am thinking you are covering it with the right color powder anyway.

If you want your embossed image to be the same color as the ink you are using, use clear embossing powder. Otherwise, your embossed image will be the same color as the embossing powder you are using. Hopefully, this answers your question : - )
