It is a very poignant ad that any long time Mercedes owner can relate to. Our Benz wagon has taken us on many multi state family trips including Walt Disney World 3 times. My kids grew up in that car. Plus, in 7 years it has NEVER let me down mechanically, despite over a 100K miles. Memories of owning a dependable family car create the thrill and provide an emotional connection to the ad. It may be the best car ad I've ever seen. A genuine tribute to Mercedes Benz quality.

Its just a piece of metal that carries an elegant design. There is nothing emotional or spiritual about an anatomical object. Its the design that creates your thrill. Not the metal or material in itself.
