My son had the same prob, they took his adnoids(sp) out when he was 16 cos his snoring would wake himself up, weeeell it changed his life, no snoring and getting a good night sleep ever since!!! Hope this wee cutie's snoring has sorted itself out :-))
My daughter had the exact same problem and her breathing even when she was awake sounded like that. She grew out of it by the time she was about 4-5 yrs old. That noise is what saved her life though, at 4 months old her face was accidentally covered with a blanket and when my mother suddenly realized that she did not hear that noise she went to check on her, and she was turning blue. If not for that noise, we would not have known until it was too late!..She is 22 yrs old now:-)

Now I am always open to suggestions on parenting, believe me, every little bit helps, but there is nothing wrong with my son sleeping and snoring in this video .If something has happened to your child and you feel the need to take it out on others.. go get help. I think its funny that after almost 4 years of this video being posted you chose to pick on it.
That little snoring preemie is now a very healthy four year old. He had an underdeveloped/weak larynx that caused him to make that cute little hiccup noise and snore-and he did it no matter what position he was in. The papasan was his favorite! By the way he still snores.
