Champions Online - Power Armor

The only way to get a real power armour build is going custom class. You need to have a gold account to do so. I don't know why they haven't made an "ironman" archetype class.

@Darakon I suspect that the reason why its not an archetype (yet?) is that, with the "Toggle Powers" and the "Power Slots" model that is unique, this power suite is very different from everyone else. There are several internal synergies (most notable the Laser Sword / Energy Shield) - but also what stats you pick will greatly influence how this build works. There is essentially Ranged, Melee, and Tank - Power Armors, and you wanna build smartly to get it to work right.

how many powers can you have cos i want loads of the munitions with the shoulder mounted mini gun from this as well as the micro munitions and maybe chest beam for my character

Okay, got my answer, 10 powers in total, plus two for the travel powers. Do I REALLY have to spend TP or can I skip it?

No, you dont have to spend any points if you dont want to.

There's no reason to NOT spend your travel power points. They can't be used for anything else, and the world is so expansive, that you're EXPECTED to use super speed, flight, etc. in order to get around. Feel free to save that first travel point, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Oh yeah, and one last thing, how do you get the Lazer Shield? Is it the Energy Shield?

I think you can make like fireballs and stuff come out of wherever you want, but Im not sure about weapons.

I know its in beta and all, and that theres probably a bunch of things still not implemented, but I gotta say that the power armor seems incomplete. On the website even, under the super powers choices tab, theres other abilitys like the Eye Beams and concussor beam.

Darakon, do you ave any idea of wethere these abiltys have been removed? Or have they just not been added or "turned on" yet?
