when usin perish pillars sephiroth is wide open for a high powered damage all u got 2 do is spam reflegra and you will take out 1 -1/2 life bars :P

when you really think about it, you dont need to be at a high level to beat him, i beat him at level 56 with sleeping lion. the trick is too always keep him in your view and bring about 3 high potions and 3 eleixirs, then get the double jump. that's all really.

retaliating slash works better when knocked up into the air because you are guaranteed to get in a few hits + a finisher

Ok, i've been trying at level 60 (yea,im only trying) and im doing pretty good so far,but he keep killing me with that angel move,the one that puts you immedietely down to 1 hp and you lose all your mp. The reason i cant avoid it is because i cant jump high enough. The aerial recovery move i have only lets me use it when i get hit. Where do i get the high jump and the second Jump?

@MrJamesThehedgehog Leveling valor form gives you a bigger normal jump. Leveling up Wisdom gives you a dash move with square. Leveling up Master gives you the extra 2nd jump he was using/talking about. Leveling up final form gives you glide.

when he casts the flare move it is actually best to use reflega!!!!!!!! it deals more damage to him than it would to you so i recomend reflega over running away

also in the begining i sugest leting him upercut use the circle to bring your self up in the air then if your fast enough you can atttack with out his retalieation but you might defend the first aircombo move from him but GET AWAY FROM HIM WENE HE LANDS

Using Glide will work, althought getting it is a pain in the ass - Lvl 3 Final for it

Aerial Attack is basically Aerial recovery, except right after you recover, it hits the target with the keyblade with a basically air combo strike.

@InfiniteZero313 not true. after u beat Xemnas u actually unlock the Sephiroth fight. the little battle record that appears at the end of the game just tells u how u did. although it seems like u can't do anything anymore after that, (because when the battle record shows up the game just stops) u can. just load the file again after u restart ur ps2. when u beat the game ur not missing out on much though. it becomes free roam everywhere and sephiroth fight is available. that's pretty much it.

Beat him at level 73 with low-level forms. All you need is Glide, Aerial Dodge, High Jump, and Berserk Charge. Decisive Pumpkin is a great blade for this. Just use Curaga, and then wail on Sephiroth. When he tries to attack you, run like a little baby. :P

@POPSDETECTIVE Level up Widom form by using it to defeat Heartless to get Quick Run and level up Master Form by collecting Drive orbs (Land of Dragons is best for that) to get Aerial dodge.

For Quick Run, you need to level up your Wisdom (blue - Donald) to level 3

For Aerial Dodge, you need to level up your Master (yellow - Mickey) to level 3 also.

@waffleathar it is easier than you would think if you know what you are doing. i was lvl 81 when i first ever defeated him. i had ultima weapon and i had all drive ability's. I had several high potions stocked and i had made a LOT of magic and strength stuff through synthesis. and defense stuff. it took me 5 minutes to defeat him.

Aerial counter just when he teleports is a little easier. Unless you're quick, aerial recovery will just set you up for one of his combos.
